Cash ressie through CRO,now what?

I called MS today to try and book a cottage for cash.They said they had nothing so I asked if she thought CRO would have anything?She said not yet.Well I called CRO and was able to book one.My quetion is will I be able to get a DVC discount somehow on that night?

Nope, only DVC discounts through MS. None through CRO, unless you get an AP rate.

Also, keep in mind that any res made outside of MS will require you to, at minimum, physically go to the reception area to check out & check in again. You may possibly have to change rooms.

Only MS can link points & cash into one contiguous reservation (& DDP if that aplies to you).

Was this for vero beach? There are codes on the FAQ for 20% off CRO.

Madduck, I curious about the details, since I just reserved a day on cash at the end of our April trip.

When were you reserving?

I reserved a night in June.I called MS the next day to ask about making a cash reservation and he said that he thought the rates werent out yet.I told him that CRO had them so he looked and magically it appeared.So I made a reservation there and I am now going to cancel the res. with CRO.

When I called to see if there was a cash night after our trip and was told there was one with a member's discount. Was given at conf. number and price to the penny. I was curious about the pricing (thinking it would have been a little less for what season I thought it should have been) and called back a couple hours later. I was told that they did not have 2008 pricing yet. Still a little confused, but think I was given 2007 pricing with member discount.

Decided intead of sitting here wondering, I would call MS. Hey they are open when I have time, for once.

The answer is.. that the rates are not out for 2008. MS shouldn't have given me a price and that my reservation will be '2008 rack rate minus 25% member discount' whenever the rates come out.

Madduck, do you know if you have 2008 pricing for sure? It makes a difference in my case because Easter changes from mid April to late March. So I'm hoping that Holiday season in 2007 will be Regular season in 2008 for my week in April.

The guy today said that the $ amount the guy gave me the other day was not correct but he could not give me a number.If its rack rate - 25% according to what CRO told me it was, Ill do better than what MS originally told me by $100.
