cash reservations

As a dvc member are you entitled to a discount when making a cash reservation at any of the resorts? If so, is it possible to see those rates or discounts listed anywhere? We only have enough points for 9 nights in a 2 bedroom at SSR but would like to stay for 12. Thanks for any info.

The DVC member discount is 25% off the published rack rates for the room at a DVC resort - there are no cash discounts at other resorts. The discount is not always available at all but is usually available on weekends. DVC's first priority is to reserve rooms at DVC resorts using points and the cash discount is available only when they are secure that the villa wil not be needed for point reservations.

If you get an annual pass, you can use it for AP discounts and different resorts, including DVC resorts. Getting the reservations linked so you don't have to move require a little work.
