Cash Reservation - Home Resort Priority?

I was wondering if making cash reservation follows the same booking rules as points. For instance, if I want to book a room using cash, do I have to wait for 11 months prior to book my room or can I book it at any time?

No iirc this does not come into play when booking cash ressie through MS. 25% member cash discount may or may not be available when you call to reserve.

I have not had the chance to book an entire trip on cash reservation through MS before, so I wasn't sure.

Thanks for the info. And yes, I do fully understand that there's a good chance that the cash discount may not be available if I call far in advance. I did add a day using cash at my 11 mths date and I got a discount. I was quite surprised. I thought they usually come out after the 7 mths mark.

I was able to get a great cash rate at VB for next April (8 months in advance). We do not own there.
