Cash Reservation at DVC Question wrt 2 Bedroom

For those of you who may have booked a 2 Bedroom at DVC directly through Disney as a cash reservation, are you guaranteed a dedicated? The way the wording is posted it doesn't have an "or" bed configuration that makes it seem like a lock off would not be an option. I'm sure some people would prefer a lock off, but with 5 people I want everyone to get a bed for a sleeping surface and no one having to sleep on a pullout of any sort. If it makes a difference I have booked a 2 Bedroom at BLT. Thanks!

When I called to ask about this they told me cash reservations are always dedicated 2 bedrooms. I don't know if that is the truth or not, but when we arrived we did indeed have a dedicated room. We were staying at Bay Lake Tower in a theme park view.

That sounds promising. Who exactly did you call to ask? I've booked a standard view 2 BR and was thinking about potentially upgrading to theme park view, but wouldn't want to do that if I wasn't guaranteed to get a dedicated. My thinking is that the studios are really popular and go quickly so they don't do as many lock offs to maximize point bookings.

the reservation cast member I called to give my preference of a high floor. I asked on here too and people said I should get a dedicated. I was a little stressed before going since it was with kids and I was nervous about them having a second door to get out of and not having real beds. It was a really amazing room. Theme park view is my favorite view there. We watched the fireworks from the balconies every night of the trip
