Cash Reservation at Bay Lake?

Hi. I'm a DVC member and own at OKW. I have some friends who want to stay at the new Bay Lake Villas. Could I make them a reservation using cash? Would DVC Members get a discount? Thank you very much for your help!

Officially the member has to be staying in the room to get the discount. But if you will also be there with them, they may allow it. If they are going on their own, I don't think so. The member discount is 25% but CRO is offering discounts on DVC resorts in the 40% range so they would be better off with that, plus they would get full housekeeping.
