We are first time cruisers and have every intention of giving a nice cash tip (well above the recommended). I wanted to give something "extra" to some of the crew (DD14 and DD6 counselors) including the main 4 (head server, server, asst server and cabin attendant). We are from the Washington, DC area and I picked up some resin boxes showing the white house with a green lawn. The boxes open (for rings or coins) and are about 3 1/2" long and 1" wide. I thought these would be cute because they represent our nation's capital, where we are from, and it is something they can use for small items. Do you think this is something they will appreciate? Or do they not have extra room for these types of things? I would appreciate any comments.

Wow, what a nice idea. Honestly I don't know if they will have room for these or not; the crew accommodations are VERY small. It sounds like these are very small boxes, though, and I'm sure they will be appreciated. :)
