Yes, if available. That can be a big if. They will only release a room for the member cash discount if they anticipate it will not be reserved for points. For example, BWV is always full the first 2 weeks of December. It is unlikely they would release a room for cash. You can also check if CRO has a cash room, they have a separate inventory of rooms. I got a better rate for an OKW 1 bedroom for a Friday night in May with an AP discount. It is a separate reservation if you go that route and there's a chance you would have to move (we didn't).

Yes, the DVC member cash discount is 25% off rack rack for all room types.

Keep in mind that there is no guarantee that there will be rooms available for this discount at the times you want them. MS only makes rooms available for cash if it anticipates that not all of the rooms in the points inventory will be reserved for points.

Members seem to have the most luck in getting the discount on weekend nights (Friday and Saturday) in the less popular seasons. You do need to check with CRO - sometimes CRO will have a room only or AP discounted room that is more than 25%. You may have to change rooms if you combine CRO/points reservations fro a single stay, though. That is not the case if your entire stay is booked via MS.

I just changed our Riverside 3night (Th-Sun) stay to the Wilderness Lodge. I have VWL booked for 6nights after that stay. Im actually hoping to be able to switch to BCV so will be switching rooms anyway.
