Cash discount for end of August?

We are heading down to the world at the end of August for our first trip home Airfare is ridiculously high so we are thinking of flying down the night before we planned. We are also AP holders but right now the discounts are only through 8/14. Would it be better to book a cash room w/ DVC discount or use the AP discount and stay at a moderate for a night?

The AP discount has personally always worked out better for us! We always just relax around the resort or DTD, then have our luggage picked up and sent over to our DVC, then head off to a park. By the time we're ready for a break, it's check in time at DVC, unpack, then out to dinner. It always works well for us. We're contemplating what to do for our August trip, as we are also finding the airfare rather high this year.
