Cash booking discounts

I thought I've heard in the past that DVC members can book reservations using cash and get a discount. Is that true and does that apply to all DVC resorts such as Aulani?

Yes, DVC does give a 25% discount on DVC properties. But, there is not always availability for a cash room. And, from my understanding, there are some room categories that are never available for cash bookings.

That's 25% off of rack rate which can be higher than a discount rate currently being offered to the public.
