Cash at VB next Easter?

Hi all--
Spring break is Easter week next year, so no way are we braving the parks. Thought we might try for VB, but I have several questions--

Points are premier season-- should I try for a cash ressie?

Will I have ANY chance of Easter at 7 mos, or should I try to exchange or transfer points with someone with VB points? (We have BCV)

Anyone ever book a cash ressie at Vero? How much for a garden or ocean view Inn room? I did a disboards search and got nothing, and it's too far out to check Expedia, etc.

you will be able to get VB 7 mons out, cash is standard studio $300 plus 11%tax, studio ocean view, ocean view inn $355 plus 11% tax. i cant remember the rate on the 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom. we did book our ressies thru exspedia because we planned about 2 1/2 months out and exspedia was the only one that hade VB for cash, we couldnt get anything thru dvc or cro cash or points. i think we were very luckly and i did check several times a day. we only stayed 3 nights, i could have gotten 5 nights even easter night.
but i would not wait like we did. we are also going to VB & wdw for easter, at easter time we dont really go to the parks just after new years when everyone goes home from the holidays. easter trip is for golfing and swimming
