I have noticed quite a few people don't like it here and was wondering what kind of experience you've had to put you off?

We've only been here once (on our last visit) to grab a snack and thought it was ok. Did I just go on a good day  We had planned on going again this time around...but you've got me a little concerned :worried: that it's not going to be like the last time we went!

The food "tastes like plastic" according to my boyfriend.

That and they managed to serve us completely stale lukewarm softdrinks on Halloween, even admitted that their system had been shut off and refused to refund us.

So basically food left a lot to be desired and bad service for us.

Slow, slow, slow service

Cold food when you eventually get it making it even more inedible than it is to start with

Unpleasant fake cheese sauce

Overpriced, even more than the other c/s options

And I like to know what I'm eating and no one can tell me where the hot dogs are coming from - I know how hot dogs are made and I don't eat them but for friends that do it would be nice to know if it's pure pork or a mix with veal or chicken like the sausages that they do in other c/s places

That happened to us with the free drink tickets - the coke was flat and warm and they refused to give us our tickets back so we could go elsewhere.:furious:

OH insisted and in the end we got them ::yes::

When we went there were only two others in front of us so the speed of service was pretty good and I can't really remember thinking anything out the ordinary about the prices either. I just got used to the fact that everywhere was expensive so just handed over the money without even really thinking about it  I'll go check out their prices now - you've got me curious! As for the food - the husband & i had hotdog and fries the kids had nuggets & fries.... ours tasted ok and were served hot and the kids didn't mention anything being wrong with the nuggets. Like I said previously though....maybe we just went on a good day.

After reading this I think I might just pop in and order one hotdog and one nuggets at first so I can try these first and decide then if to buy more or not :rotfl:

That would be where the ever popular game of "unlearning English if there's a complaint" came into play. We even tried to take it to City Hall and they just shrugged it off. Haven't been back since and have no desire to do so.

I don't like the food, and its expensive (they no longer do meal deals, which, although it was the same food, at least was better value than it is now).

Personally love Casey's and never had any major issues.. my only criticicism of it is that yes, the service can be painfully slow sometimes. Even with only a few people in front.

It's a little bit pricey, but then we find that the hot dogs are very filling so not too bad I guess.

Food wise, never had a bad meal from there (and we've eaten at least twice every visit)...

I don't like hot dogs so that's why I don't rate it. I'd much rather eat elsewhere. However my eldest DD insists on buying at least a portion of fries (if not a hot dog too although minus the cheese thank goodness) as a tradition each trip. The service has always been terribly slow - we always have a laugh at this and say that Casey's must be where they place the new CMs! :rotfl:

We ate here last year. It was edible but nothing really special but I must admit we didn't even consider trying the cheese sauce!

We ate here in Feb, grabbed a couple of hotdogs, chicken nuggets for DD and some hot chocs. Service was painfully slow, but we did go during the free drink slot! I love dirty horrible hotdogs and burgers (I would even buy them from motorway food vans if I could! PMSL) so found the hotdogs quite okay - filling and warm!

We will be grabbing hotdogs again when watching the parade etc.
