I really don't think George is hiding anything as far as "molesting" Casey. I don't believe he ever laid a finger on he, even to discipline her. Cindy seems like the type to forbid anyone from not allowing Casey to get her own way.

As for Lee, the brother, from what I read in the very beginning of the trial, when Casey was 15 Lee tied to grope her chest but he said it was nothing sexual, just stupid antics. As WTH as it sounds, I do know that this could be innocent silliness while being inappropriate.

As far as this whole trial mess. I think I'm really at the point of having the defense be done. It's really painful to watch them try to drag this out with no real defense. And I'm sure that is exactly what they are trying to do. My brother is a prosecutor and when the jury is out on one of his trials. . .the sooner they reach a verdict the better it is for the state. If they could get this mess of a trial to the jury before the 4th of July, it would really be a huge plus for the state. The jury will want to come to a speedy verdict and that is always favorable for the prosecution. The defense is trying to drag things out so that the holiday isn't a factor. Shady lawyer crap in my opinion! but when you really don't have a good defense, I guess those are the kinds of shenanigans you try to pull. It's just all really pathetic! they came with this bombshell of an opening statement and haven't shown any evidence to back it up! I wonder what they are going to say in their closing statement. . .because they haven't given evidence to any of it!!! And so that precludes them from bringing any of it up. . .bozo will probably stand there with his mouth hanging open. . .at least I can hope!

The State's closing should be very powerful. . .and I hope they drive home the facts! They have provided them. They stated what they would show. . .and they have. The defense hasn't done diddly squat!

How can anybody believe anything ICA has claimed. If you're willing to believe that GA or LA has molested her, then I guess you better be willing to buy into that she was working at Universal for those 2 yrs, that JG was Caylee's father and that Caylee was with the imaginary Zanny the Nanny all that time. I just don't think you get to pick and choose. . .what's the phrase? Liar, liar pants on fire?!

I'm right there with you! Last week was bad enough but when she got up there and lied again today that did it for me. Now I see where Casey gets it from.

I thought that the people from Gentiva would have been there today, but my guess is tomorrow. My thing about that is, why would the defense bring them in? To show she was lying? We all know that, but if they prove that she was lying about her being on the computer and not Casey how is that going to help Casey? Please explain that to me.



Well I think this trial has been a real eye opener for both George & Lee. I honestly don't see how George & Cindys marriage is going to hold up after
this. Maybe it will, but if I were George, I would be out of there.

The prosecution has informed the court that they would be calling the Gentiva people to testify during the rebuttal section, after the defense rests. I'm sure Baez and Cindy threw up in their mouths a little when LDB announced that she would be calling the Gentiva people.

ok - before todays mission of WTH???? starts i'm posting the wonderful updates i got on Nicole.


I called last night around 11 and got some wonderful news.

she's doing so much better. she had been given 1ml of my milk and at that time so far so good. her blood results for the jaundice was getting lower (which i knew) so would come off the lights later today. and she had all those poos to get rid of "stuff". she had dropped weight but i did expect that so is sitting just a tiny bit above the 6lb mark.

woke up this morning at 5.30 - couldn't sleep and my muscles were SCREAMING at me.

called at 6 to speak to the same nurse before shift change at 7am.

EVEN BETTER NEWS

she had been given a feed at 12 and handled it nicely and another at 4 and they are watching her but all signs pointing to handling it as well.

she had 2 more poos

they took her iv's out YAAAAHHHH and - wait for it.

MIGHT TAKE HER TUBES OUT TODAY.

so when we go later I might actually be able to hold her ........ oh my god i'll cry i just know it.

I'm home in time to take Cassie to school for the final day and she's just over the moon that i can do it.

she's so happy i'm home. she came in our bed last night and is jammed up my back holding on for dear life she's had a tough go at this but she's a trooper too.

i've missed so much of the trial i dont' even want to know what happened i'm hoping to figure out what's happened today but my guess is. defense put up witnesses that said stuff that started to make you think hummm then state swooped in and crushed each and every one - am i close?

SHES DOING BETTER


I called at 11 (wanted to drive back down but dh said no ) so the first thing her nurse said was "She's doing better"

her oxygen level was down to 26 (needs to be down to 21 to get the tubes out) from 35 this morning.

she's had 3 poops today including the one dh had to deal with LOL . he said she was starting to freak out and he was saying "what's happening" and the nurse says it's ok lets take a look and OHHHHH ok this is why she was uncomfortable. poo everywhere lol

so dh helped change her and lifted her to change the pads she was on and he was happy about that

i got discharged and came home (slept twice lol) and waited until 11 to call for an update.

I'm told she's doing much better, her O2 is down to 26 and SHE WAS GIVEN MY MILK WOO HOO at 8pm and hadn't thrown it up, she'll be off the "hamburger heating lights" for her jaundice (sp) by the morning.

so things are looking great.

That's the thing...we can't believe ANYTHING she says. If she got on the witness stand, I'd be asking for her driver's license to prove who she is.
