I can't understand why JB put CA and LA back on the stand to ask them questions that he knew how they would answer. He knew Cindy would deny sending the PI's to search for Caylee's body, and he knew Lee would say she did. At least I assume he knew. I probably missed the discussion when it was happening, but can anyone clue me in? Did JB have a motive for it?

In case it hasn't been mentioned, CM stated at the end of the day today that they only have a half dozen witnesses left to call. We are winding down!

The commentators were saying that they are 99% sure that Linda will close. They said Ashton is likely chomping at the bit to do it but they just didn't feel like he would.

The station I usually watch has defense attorneys on that are clearly pulling for the defense. They try and try to find the tiniest little points to give to Baez & Co. All three tonight said, try as they might, they admit Baez just isn't bringing it home. They said unless he pulls something out of his......er.....hat, his goose is cooked.

I suppose it isn't good when the cheerleaders put down their pom poms.

I think I know why the DT doesn't want Casey to testify. They know they'd never be able to keep up with her stories. They are stumbling with even the easy witnesses. ICA would have their heads spinning.

The only thing viable that I heard was to show dysfunction.

But one of his witnesses (Cindy) is about to take a hit by the impeachment bus while riding the perjury train...so jury isn't going TL believe her when that happens.

Nope, not unless they find some case law to support it. Right now they have no basis, though.

Thats how i feel, all this lying get up there and defend yourself because your attorneys sure couldnt. Talk about the many faces of Cassey? Wow one could only imagine how many snapshots could you post in one day. Plus the look on the whole DT.

As far as JG goes, how does that not fall under hearsay? Add in the fact that Casey lied to him about paternity, and I think his testimony means nothing. . .except that ICA is a big fat liar!

As far as LA. I can really imagine that all he went through with the gf having an abortion and then starting another relationship right away, that he was probable very interested in Caylee's paternity. He most likely knew that JG wasn't the father and he most likely didn't think that was right or fair. He probably thought that whoever the real father was out there had the right to know. And I think that's where the, "Hey, Lee! Butt out and mind your own business!" came from. And I would think that it would totally be within ICA's character to tell JG that Lee tried to mess with her to discredit anything he said. Let's be honest. . ..she doesn't care who she throw's under the bus or who she hurts, as long as it serves her.

One more thing. . .that look CA is giving LA! No wonder he goes along with ICA's crap. . . just to keep CA off his back. It's really so sad!

ETA- somebody in that dysfunctional mess needs to remember why they are all there! There is an innocent toddler that is not here to defend herself. I was hoping GA would be the one. . .maybe even LA. . but apparently CA has such a hold over them that they are walking a tight rope.

I still think in the end, the State's closing argument is going to be as powerful as their opening that the jury will have no other choice to see through all the crap and stick to the facts. We can all hope!
