Guys please help me with this. I know I've must have missed stuff and I didn't see the testimony today but what is the Defense saying the reason Kronk moved the body? If he wanted the money, why would it matter where he found the body? I don't get this part. Did they say where he allegedly originally found her bf he moved Caylee's body? I'm not following their defense. Unless it hasn't been made clear yet. So their defense is that the father found Caylee drowned and then he put her ?where? and then Kronk moved her and put tape on her mouth? OMG I am so confused. Sorry if this has been addressed and I just missed it.

WFTV reporting that security was heightened today - not due to Casey's outburst, but perhaps because of threat of an outburst from gallery. Spectators were asked to remove sunglasses and he says the door to the courtroom was locked for about 30 minutes.

My guess (and I am very confused so I may be guessing incorrectly):

Originally, I think the point the defense was trying to make was that IF Kronk was busy running around the woods moving the body, he may also be sinister enough to apply duct tape. If they could get anyone to believe he applied the duct tape, that would blow the whole case out of the water because the state feels the duct tape is the murder weapon.

Since the only mention CM made of duct tape was that it was already there, I'm thinking they didn't make their point!

He said his son had not seen him in 8 years, but later he said something about his son being in the Coast Guard.

Thanks for the clarification... They must have been close huh? perhaps reason for a son to say something negative about the father who was never there (if indeed the son said this about the phone call)

He doesn't know, he said LE may have been tipped off about a planned outburst from the gallery, but he did not elaborate. He said that is the reason a deputy is behind ICA today.

I'm still curious about Kronk, why did he leave his job? Fired or resigned and was it a result of this case?

As a juror, even if I thought that the duct tape moved around when Kronk shook the bag, I would still see it as the duct tape was there originally and I would have to ask myself who would duct tape a child. Maybe a mother that went out and partied for 31 days while her daughter was "missing?" I hope the jury sees things the way I do, though.

Didn't the CSI people say that tape wasn't sticky any more? How coud this duct tape magically stick to the skull as Kronk messed with it? AND it magically taped itself to line up the jawbone accurately? How stupid!!
