Sorry for jumping in, but I'm watching Kronk and seeing lots of people talking about watching Casey... is there a seperate video feed for Casey?

I think wftv has commercials, but I haven't watched in a while. I watch wesh. If you go to THE FIRST POST of this thread, it's rather educational...lots of good links...it's my baby.

Is defense insinuating that it is a citizen's responsibility to make sure the police do their job?

I have called and reported things--but I don't call and bust their chops to make sure they listen to me.

I do get irritated when it seems they take their sweet time. But not my job to scold them. I am not their supervisor.

As tragic as it is for Kronk to have found Caylee--it was not a living person in distress and I'm sure he wasn't the only person to call in with a tip.

I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY! I've called the police before and never followed up. One time, when I saw a van full of people driving with NO HEADLIGHTS ON run a red light, and the police dispatcher told me "too busy tonight." Good thing no one got killed.

Did Kronk just say he was never closer that 8 feet in August. I thought he said 30 feet earlier.

30 feet on the 11th of August, didn't go on the 12, on the 13th met an officer there and took him down to where he saw it, said he was 8 ft from it then.

Well, the next 2 days are going to be action packed, I guess. DT has to prove sex abuse by GA to ICA; accidental drowning & ICA being scared & hiding body. Gonna be a busy 2 days. No one will be bored I guess!

Well, congratulations Kurby! Nicole is beautiful! I hope she gets to come home soon. It sounds like you have quite the birth story to tell. I can just imagine you screaming the head is out. Good thing she didn't come in one big whoosh like my third did.

I've been watching the trial here and there. It's been sooooo boring. And it's just so bits and pieces. . .what the heck is the DT trying to get at, besides confusion? I'm still waiting for them to tell us exactly what happened after Caylee supposedly drown. What's their theory? GA took the body, wrapped it up, put duct tape on it, and passed it off to his sometime meter reader? Yeah. . .that's logical!

I think Kronk is now sorry he showed such glee at the prospect of getting money. That could be used as Motive against him. Plus it might be embarrassing to have been glad about finding remains.

I am curious about the letter to Melich why would someone write name withheld? Cindy no longer works there. so there is no way to prove this letter as anyone could write it. I know there are witness's for the state coming, I wonder if one of them wrote the letter. Not trying to cause an argument just not sure if it would be admissable if no way to prove it.

They may not have written it, but Melich or whoever put this out there may not have included their name knowing it would be visible by the world.

I took it as the name was withheld by the reporter or blogger who posted it. To protect the person & themself while it is being investigated. Could be wrong, but I think that makes sense.

I see it as sort of nervous joking. You are afraid it is, but of course you don't want it to be a dead 2 year old. So instead you joke, "Boy, wouldn't that be something if it is? I'll be rich, ha, ha, ha.....ha....."

I almost said something similar and very insensitive to my mom earlier today, but caught myself. A good friend of my brother died unexpectedly on Saturday, in Alabama. My mom (who lives in Florida) already had a plan to be in the same town on business this week, and the funeral is today, so since she is there on business she is going with my brother. My thought was, isn't that great that you were already there on business so you can go? But of course I don't think it's great that she has to go to this man's funeral, of course I don't think it's great that he died.

I believe that LE redacted the name from the letter before putting it out to the public under the Sunshine Laws.

I know if I worked somewhere and a co-worker was on trial for something unrelated to work and full out lied about work then I'd call/write and say "Hey she lied to ya'lls face about that". However I wouldn't appreciate having my name made public.

Too many ppl have been burnt by having anything to do with this case.

I believe people uNder stres or grief will make jokes--I have done them at odd times. I was in the ER having a miscarriage and cracking jokes with someone who had someone in as a patient. I had spent all afternoon upset. I gain nothing by remaining that way every second. And I did cry later. But I still cracked jokes while in the ER.

I hope I never have to testify in court. I can't remember what I did 3 weeks ago. Forget about 3 years ago. I know these things were important to these people but to remember specific dates etc I could never do it.

Kronk might as well say he was elated and excited to have found the the skull as he thought he would get some money. He might as well admit he called family and told friends. His trying to be evasive about that does not do him any good. He looks evasive!
