On one of the HLN shows last night (Nancy Grace or some other female talking head expert - can't recall), they were chastising Ann because she had a shoplifting trial today and how could she take that trial when attorneys know you always take the most important trial over the smaller trial. They were rambling on and on about how this is a "Death penalty trial" and how dare she not be there and how dare she choose a lesser trial when any good attorney worth their salt knows you attend the higher priority trial.

THIS was the comment I heard, too, and I think it was NG, since I saw about 15 minutes of her show outside of the courtroom coverage.

Oh wow Cindy and George sitting as far apart as they can get while still being next to each other, George is leaning over the side of the bench away from her. She wouldn't look at Lee either. I think she is livid with them.

She should be livid with herself!

Were Cindy and George also on the stand.
I came back and Lee was there. Were Cindy and George there too?

Ok, I've been lurking since this whole thing started, and I've just started watching the trial.

WHY did Cindy lie? Are they trying to confuse the jury enough to get her off on reasonable doubt??

Cindy knows the end of the trial is near and she's desperate now to save Casey, so she threw herself under the bus, but it was so obvious that she was lying. Her original testimonies were what really happened (she smelled a dead body on the car, she tool the pool ladder DOWN etc).

Does Cheney really think he is going to get a confession out of Kronk? He is sounding like he thinks he will get it.

Bottom line---he did not kill Caylee!

Kronk seems credible to me, so far.

Less skeevy (so far) than Hoover and DC.

Cindy should have realized that lying for Casey and then getting caught lying by Prosecutors afterward would ultimately hurt her daughter more than help.

Can someone who is sympathetic to the defense please explain to me what is going on?


All I keep coming up with is "They are ALL nuts!"

The defense is trying to prove that Roy Kronk, who's on the stand right now, found Caylee's body, took it, hid it, and moved it to where he "publically" found the body in order to claim a reward. He allegedly told his son that he was waiting for the right time.

He said he went to pee in the woods when he found the body. But he also said he wouldnt go into the woods because he was scared of snakes.

The reason the defense keeps putting Caseys family on the stand is to show that her family is very dysfunctional, hid the accidental death of Caylee, that there was marital friction in the family, that the brother could have been the father of the child...all to say this is why Casey coulod do all her lying, because she grew up in a dysfunctional family that taught he to lie.

I'm sympathetic to the defense only because I'm in the minority here and I like Jose Baez, but I admit he has beem making a lot of hilarious mistakes that makes him look like a jerk and an inexperiened.

Ever since we got our 6' privacy fence, my husband will sometimes pee in the backyard when he could use the potty in his own house. So Kronk is not the only guy who thinks it's more fun to pee in the grass.

Having been a cable tech for more years than I care to remember, one thing I know is true: when you're office is on 4 wheels driving around, you quickly learn where the 'facilities' are, whether it be gas stations or construction sites. Always tried to avoid using a "primitive toilet".

I would guess no.

I was watching an undercover boss and on one job (garbage collector), dominated by males--they featured a female collector. She made the comment that she did not have that option.



Ruh roh---Kronk said he didn't call 911.

Okay--he called non-emergency line. Not 911. CM just made. Stink to imply witness was wrong...non-emergency line is not 911.
