So, Baez' strategy is to show how diabolically Casey lies and how gullible Cindy and George were? Someone? Anyone? Im so confused..:confused3

Apparently:confused3

I think he is trying to show that they weren't attentive to Casey, I think, I have no idea how he thinks this is going to help his client.

They are trying to prove what a good liar she is - proving she could act straight faced even if her daughter just drowned.

But this defense is a joke.

I don't think he needs to PROVE she's a liar! Everybody already knows!:rotfl::rotfl:

Interesting how Casey never spoke about her REAL friends, just her imaginary ones.... Never about Tony, Ricardo, Amy, or any of the others that testified. Hope that makes the jury think. Why hide her real life with an imaginary one? What was she doing in her real life that she didn't want her parents to know.......

Sure sounds that way!

All 3 of my kids worked for the same fast food place in HS and college, between 2 locations. This is starting from 6 or 7 years ago. I just found out that the "Diane" that I've heard about, in the course of various conversations, is the SAME Diane that they all mentioned. About 3 years ago, oldest DD lived with her (and a bunch of other people) in a house. Just recently, 2nd DD's new DH lived with Diane and her boyfriend in a house they now own. AND Diane is DS's manager at the fast food restaurant now. :confused3 I've never met her. I don't show up at the location where DS now works (a few towns away); there was no one home in the house where oldest DD lived with Diane when I went there (I didn't just show up at the house full of college students), and I never went to the house where DD's new DH lived. I mean, you hit 18 and kind of go off and have your friends. Of course I've met some of them, but my kids aren't bringing their friends around to OUR house much now. Could all my kids be making up different people? Well, yeah, except for the fact that they're not crazy liars.

I thought that too. I think she hated her mother so much she just didn't want her to be part of it.

why is he going on and on and on and ON AND ON about non exsistant people?

did you speak o her - NO SHE DOESN"T EXSIST
did you see a pic of her NO SHE DOESN"T EXSIST

agrrrr

We will be here all year if Bozo wants to question Cindy at great length about all of Casey's imaginary friends Watch out Bozo, it is just proving that Cindy really paid attention to her daughter and didn't smother her over the choices she was making.

I would suck as a juror. Even though I've heard all the testimony that shows that, I sometimes don't make that connection on my own. I need people to point this out to me. :thumbsup2

It just shows the jury that everything casey says or does is just imaginary. So I guess if your daughter wasnt missing in the opening statemnet it is all imaginary now.

MAYBE Casey didn't want to bring her real friends around because of this resentment she has for Cindy, that Cindy was the type of person who would do all these wonderful things for the friends (she'd bake cakes, make food...for the imaginary friends that didn't show up), and Casey didn't want her friends liking Cindy very much, like she didn't like the way Caylee love Cindy.

The defense is all over the place. Why would George spend all this money going all of the country search for people if he knew Caylee had drowned?

That's what I was thinking. Cindy remembers a lot about these people she never met. More than I would about people I did meet. To me, shows paying attention to what Casey told her.

Maybe he's trying to show that Cindy is clueless about things happening around her, and that she could have been unaware of George molesting his daughter. I guess maybe trying to make her look like an idiot AS IF anybody else would have guessed that Casey was making all these people up.
