ok - so here's a question not case specific but

do you think people are convicted or aquitted based on how they look or how they act after a crime?

gees - back 30 seconds and already another sidebar.

anyone keeping count?

Look, no--

act--well, if they were trying to cover their tracks, perhaps.

I don't know the legal litmus. I have an opinion, I am not sure if it is legally sound. ;)

oh come on - he doesnt' know how long it takes to get same city mail?

i could tell you if someone down town mailed me a letter i'd get it (baring any mail strike or it getting lost) 2-3 days tops.

we've even been known to get it the next day if it's mailed before 9am (first pick up) and gets processed.

surely he would know if it takes a few days or more then a week to get local mail

I am confused--what is Baez asking about?

And what relevance is mail pickup habits of George?

NM: Notice about the car.

I am about two blocks from the courthouse. I so badly want to go and stand outside and tell Jose what a clown he is. (I won't really do it, but good golly this guy is making me angry)

I think he might be implying that George ignored the notice and took his time with it because he didn't want the car found?

I don't know, I have a hard time intepreting what Baez does...

I imagine that was a lot of the reasoning why Scott Peterson was found guilty in murdering his wife, Lacey. No physical evidence but his actions were speaking so much louder than words.

You dont want to go inside and watch? Or are you unable to?

It's like I can see what he is trying to do, but that he can't do it properly...

WKMG blog is joking about how the mailman is in on it.

Not sure about the actual tire, but the "bodily fluids" :guilty: soaked into the trunk lining, as in this article:

There are also new revelations in the new documents about the mysterious stain in Casey Anthony's car trunk. FBI investigators say the stain is shaped like a child's body in the fetal position. The FBI says the child's back, bottom and legs could be seen most clearly.

I have sent a letter to someone within a few miles of my house and sent my mom that lives 900 miles away a letter on the same day and my mom has received her letter first on multiple occasions. Just because the letter is only being sent a mile away doesn't mean it will arrive quickly. I would have answered that it SHOULD only take a few days.

I think the whole kidnapping BS has been put to rest since Baez stated that Caylee drowned in the pool. So I don't really see the point of asking these questions over & over again to all the people who testify, the defense having already admitted that Caylee was never truly missing. Whether or not we believe Caylee died accidentally or not I think we can all agree on the fact that Casey knew there was no point in searching for her in July 2008.

And if one were to believe Baez, George also knew she was dead the entire time. Are they going to go into this further, or since George isn't on trial do they just say it and then move on to create 'doubt'? I'm really confused about that, and I can't figure out if George and Cindy are on Casey's side or not. I dothink they are all bit off.

Did they all know she was dead, was it just George and Casey or did her parents (at least initially) believe the missing story?

That's the kind of stuff I want to know.

I love how Baez is doing a dramatic reading of George Anthony's deposition. You'd think he was auditioning for a play and was reading a script.

I lived on the coast and EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF MAIL that we sent locally, was first routed to Orlando and then sent back to us. So if I mailed something to my neighbor--they would get it 2 or 3 days later with an Orlando post mark.

We have no sorting facilities in my county.

It isn't George's responsibility to know how the postal service routes their mail. That burden is on Jose Baez to use his investigative dollars and "investigate" it. Dork!

I'm at work and I see lonnnnnnnnnng lines of people out there every day trying to get in. I believe they only let 50 or so people in there a day. I thought about taking my lunchbreak during a time they're in, but there is no telling when they would break again for recess, etc.
