Anyone know what was up with the George Anthony Grand Jury testimony transcript that Judge Perry wanted to see?

Why are they questioning Tony (Baez and Perry) w/out the jury present?

Didn't realize they were questioning a witness...what is up with that?

I think the prosecution was loving this answer. I mean he said hitting but nothing sexual for George, and he said for Lee it was only that he "attempted to feel her up".

What is the relevance?

Baez in questioning him yesturday it almost leaked out that there was a shared secret and that was put to a halt. Well he did not get brought back till today and they decided to question him about it with out the jury present. Baez was really hoping to hear that George molested her and that is not the case. He is not happy and it is blowing his theory all to you know what.

I watch that until the cameras are shut off. They have 2 cameras one of them is on Casey all the time. I like that they only show commercials about every hour. I usually refresh my browser when there is a side bar (heaven knows there a lot of them) so I can watch without any interruption. There is live blog (but really like a chat room) that people post some great lines on. Yesterday someone said, "If you find the nanny you will find a rainbow and a pot of gold too."

It sure made me laugh because you could tell Bozo was sure Tony was going to say what he (Bozo) wanted to hear. Casey probably told Bozo she told but then forgot what lie she told him.

I do have 1 ounce of sympathy for Baez. It has got to be a beast to defend a conniving, scheming liar. I'm sure at some point he had to buy into her lies.

I think he hoped to be Johny Cochran, or even Ed Mazry (Erin Brokavich). Unfortunately, he is looking more and more like Bozo the clown. Casey has some of that blame. But if Jose didn't have stardust in his eyes, he would have known that he was out of his league a long, long time ago.

It doesn't.

But for their defense strategy, it is to demonstrate that her family is in on the lying and George is lying. They are trying to discredit George with all of this to provide reasonable doubt that their alternate cause of death theory is reasonable.

Unfortunately-- I don't think it will work. It is merely a distraction that is not providing his lying client the best defense. Jose is way out of his league. I can sort of see what he is trying to do. But he comes across as someone who skipped class the entire semester and walking right into an Astrophysics final and explaining to his teacher why he deserves an A+.

That's kind of surprising to me. I wouldn't have thought that Casey had any job where she made enough money to where she would owe $70,000 in taxes. Know what I mean? Good luck to the IRS in getting that money.

It's hard to keep track of those lies, ya know? That's the thing about lies...you have to "remember" what you said. And when one lies frequently, that just creates more things to remember and keep straight. Casey doesn't strike me as the brightest bulb on the tree, so I can imagine it's hard for her to remember all of her stories and lies.

The IRS typically is pretty good about figuring out who owes them money. And since Casey isn't a minor and since she is Caylee's mom and since the money was used for her defense, she profited from that photo.

Thanks for posting all the links. My first impression is she will not get the death penalty. It maybe a hung jury, just a feeling. A side bar/ Linda Kenny is looking very good, and I saw Marcia Clark last night and she looks great too, back to her dark hair.

Because if Tony would have said that George had any sexual contact it would prove him right. He was handed a direct blow today. And it does not have a reflection on killing her daughter.
