I wonder what the defense has to say about that?
I was just popping in to ask the same thing after reading the updates by all of our fine folks on DIS-Jury duty today.

Defense claims:
Caylee drowns. It was an accident. George is fiercely angry and tells Casey that her mother will NEVER forgive her. She will go to jail for neglect..blah blah blah. Okay--got that.
Prosecution just DEMONSTRATED WITH EVIDENCE:
Casey has been busted by her mother. Mother is po'd at her and scared out of her mind.
It can be assumed that the fear of never forgiving is now in place because Caylee missing and grandma is upset.
911 has been called, the police can and would intervene immediately to get George arrested, if that were the claim....
The golden parachute is here to rescue Lady Casey---and what does she do? She lies to 911.

That makes no sense what so ever.
Indeed--how is defense going to deal with that one? Forget for one minute what a normal parent would do--go with Casey's "Defense". They hid Casey's accidental death because she was going to get in BIG BIG BIG BIG trouble with her mother.
Let's even introduce (pretend) that Cindy once upon a time, told her daughter that she would personally kill her if anything EVER happened to Caylee.
She doesn't beg and plead for 911 to help her? She continues the lie? It makes absolutely no sense and drills so many holes into the "reasonable doubt" attempt by Baez and company.
Okay--not sure how much longer Cindy has on the stand. But keep us posted, especially if cross examination happens.
(*I didn't hear the calls today, but I did hear a portion of Casey's call back when all this broke. One of the key oddities of this whole thing that not only attracted all the media attention--but made her original claims doubtful. It certainly makes her present claims highly impossible at this point.)
