I wonder what the defense has to say about that?

I was just popping in to ask the same thing after reading the updates by all of our fine folks on DIS-Jury duty today.;)

Defense claims:
Caylee drowns. It was an accident. George is fiercely angry and tells Casey that her mother will NEVER forgive her. She will go to jail for neglect..blah blah blah. Okay--got that.

Prosecution just DEMONSTRATED WITH EVIDENCE:
Casey has been busted by her mother. Mother is po'd at her and scared out of her mind.

It can be assumed that the fear of never forgiving is now in place because Caylee missing and grandma is upset.

911 has been called, the police can and would intervene immediately to get George arrested, if that were the claim....

The golden parachute is here to rescue Lady Casey---and what does she do? She lies to 911.:confused3:confused3

That makes no sense what so ever.

Indeed--how is defense going to deal with that one? Forget for one minute what a normal parent would do--go with Casey's "Defense". They hid Casey's accidental death because she was going to get in BIG BIG BIG BIG trouble with her mother.

Let's even introduce (pretend) that Cindy once upon a time, told her daughter that she would personally kill her if anything EVER happened to Caylee.

She doesn't beg and plead for 911 to help her? She continues the lie? It makes absolutely no sense and drills so many holes into the "reasonable doubt" attempt by Baez and company.

Okay--not sure how much longer Cindy has on the stand. But keep us posted, especially if cross examination happens.

(*I didn't hear the calls today, but I did hear a portion of Casey's call back when all this broke. One of the key oddities of this whole thing that not only attracted all the media attention--but made her original claims doubtful. It certainly makes her present claims highly impossible at this point.)

Some do. I think they were young too. I wonder how they're doing. :confused3

They don't have to be young children, mine are 13 and 16 I remember the day I brought them home, I remember what I felt as a new mother, the fear I had that something might happen to them and now as the mother of older children I still have some fear, but the fear I felt in the early days is right there, I'll never forget that fear.... I don't think I'm unusual, I'm sure most Mom's feel the same way about their children.

My heart aches for Cindy. I think that She was desperate and in denial. As a mom, of a daughter that has a habit of making bad choices, Cindy's was going into protect mode. At this point she can't fathom her daughter may of killed her child.

Really? She just had to give the world her cell phone number? I can't imagine the stuff she is going to get from that.

Wow she just gave her current cell number... I say Cindy, turn it off... change your number, that poor woman...

Casey, is defensive and going around in circles. Classic liar. Explain that Baez!

I know, I'm hoping people don't go crazy now, calling her. She has been through enough, the last think she needs is getting harassed by strangers.

She has no concern for her child during these calls from prison or on the 911 calls. It's all about her. Disgusting.

I am watching on a channel WESH 2 News took over and are showing the trail without interruption. I have heard plenty of f-words, but they keep muting the call for 10-15 secs at a time.

Has Casey ever been diagnosed with mental illness? Like manic depression?

My children at 22, 20 and 18...I feel THE SAME WAY.

I wonder how many calls she's already gotten in the last few minutes.
Why do they keep muting parts of Casey's jail call?
F-bombs.

It's amazing to hear this phone call from jail. When Christina (who is she??) starts to cry that if anything happens to Caylee she'll just die, Casey says, all PO'd, "Oh...my...God..." She's just so pissed that all everyone is worried about is Caylee. Whoa.

Oh. I don't know. Maybe it's just a streaming issue.

I can't currently listen to the stream where I am at the moment, but if the court asked for her cell phone number, she has to state it out loud for the court reporter. I would hope that CNN/etc would bleep it out, but if it's live streaming with no muting, nothing can be done.

Does anyone remember who this Christina person is? Is this a friend of Casey's or Lee's?

Lunch break till 1:30. Thank God. I need a break from this emotion...watching Cindy and getting upset, and listening to Casey and getting angry.

this phone calls sounds more like shes calling from a bar or something and never mind her daughter is missing/dead.
