After hearing this, even I'm all for paid jurists who do nothing but sit and listen to the evidence and use the law as their guide.

Mark and KC never had sex. In the text messages that went back and forth he mentioned how surprised he was that she'd want to come see him...how he'd always liked her but she never gave him the time of day etc.

Well I know he says that, but in his NCIS interview he says that he and Casey went on a few dates (and later also spent a lot of time with both Casey and Casey while on leave in Orlando), and that it wasn't serious and they agreed they should just remain friends, etc. But JMO, the way Casey went through guys, I don't know if I really believe him about that, KWIM

BTW another thing Mark said was "that Casey told him that her brother Lee Anthony knew most of the story of what happened to Caylee and she would tell him (Mark) all about it "some day"

I agree this is important. Murders should not be able to sell pictures of their victims in order to fund their defense!! There should be no monetary compensation for pictues, or interviews around these crimes. It is digusting.

The catch is a defendant is innocent until proven guilty.

Oh forgot to post here that Cheney Mason was on the noon news today - he is now defending a man charged with child rape (under the age of 12)

The accused wanted to be able to travel to other states to see his rental properties and his doctor, and also wanted to be able to remove his GPS ankle monitor while he traveled.

I yelled at the TV when Cheney Mason was acting all smarty and told the reporter "I'll get him off, just like I did Casey Anthony".

Scott Bush, accused of sexually abusing two young girls, will not be allowed to travel, and will continue wearing a GPS ankle monitor.

A judge Wednesday morning ruled Bush is not allowed to leave the state of Florida, and must continue wearing his GPS monitor.

The defense had argued that Bush had to check rental properties across the country for financial reasons, and that the tracking device was a nuisance.

But the state said Bush has enough money to pay someone to look after properties.

Prosecutors also asked if the GPS monitor wasn't comfortable, would jail be better?

The accusations against Bush first came to light in January, when prosecutors said they found evidence that former Windermere police Chief Daniel Saylor tried to shut down the investigation into Bush, because he was his friend.

Saylor was then fired and charged with several felonies.

As for Bush, he has maintained he is not guilty. He was released on bond in April, and is expected to go on trial in September.

This is good to know. No pays period, but they also need to involve attorneys and the defendants. I am wondering how casey could sell pics and movies to abc since she was locked up in jail. And it is against the law for an attorney to sell anything. I wonder if there is an investigation for that as well. It took a while for him to admit he collected money from that. I wonder if casey will sue Baez eventually for the tax money that needs to be paid for that money. If they paid her by check how could she cash that? Wouldnt she be required to go to the bank and show ID? Or did they make out the check to Baez? Baez is a very shady attorney.

Speaking of profits, Ebay is cashing in on Casey too, there is a court ticket for July 5, you know the big day for $1000 dollars.Copies of The Orlando Sentinel, some funny T shirts, bumper stickers and internet domains for 1 and 2 Million dollars!!! ! COurt house documents, even magazines addressed to Casey in jail, even Matt middle finger is selling his ticket. My god, she is going to make big big bucks when she gets out.

UPDATE, July 13th

*I have been receiving a bunch of messages, many of them are very positive and supportive, to that I'd like to say thank you for your support and concern. While I don't wish to repond back to everyone in this forum, I would like to clarify a few issues... This is an authentic ticket (not a reproduction), this is me, Matthew Bartlett, in the photo (thank you to the person that tried to tell me I wasn't me and that the person who got arrested was 28 and I look younger in the picture. I put on the same unique shirt and tie I wore that fateful day, I'm just a sunglasses person I guess). I did do the full 6 days in jail, and the inmates and correctional officers were all very nice, although, I was in protective custody (and not allowed even 1 free phone call or even a pen, paper, nor envelope), so, I can get into that at another time. Also, the jury was NOT in the courtroom at 2:34pm when it happened and there was no threat therefore of jeopardizing the jury (although a deputy tried to tell me the jury was in the room and that I "better not lie to the judge"), it was very scary being up there... The gesture went unnoticed by all in the courtroom (including judge, deputies, attornies, and fellow spectators in the gallery) and didn't disrupt the proceedings until a reporter, who read a tweet by a home viewer (many of us know which reporter it was, but I'm sure she doesn't want her name out there), jumped up to be the first person to "scoop" the story to the deputies. Speaking of jeopardizing, why would a judge of the community want to harm the reputation and image of a fine-standing restaurant when the incident did not involve them directly, which in turn provoked a lot of unsolicited support for me, mean and ignorant press, hate calls, etc.? I could go on and on but this isn't the proper forum I'd like to speak in. I have not spoken out publicly about the event other than a blurb on facebook to set the record straight about being confused with the Florida felon with the same name, and do not intend to any more on ebay. I am merely selling a piece of memoribilia from the day I was arrested on national TV, a lot like others selling their tickets, except in my case I have court fines/fees to pay, plus I lost my job (and get this, the general manager said it was because I didn't show up to work for 3 shifts). Lastly, please don't transpose your anger from the verdict on me, rather the ones who didn't give you the verdict you wanted like the attornies, jury, judge, defendant, the system, etc.

She is likely going to be giving those big bucks she makes right back to the people suing her and in legal fees because of those lawsuits.

This is my first post since the verdict was read last week.......I was so upset and so surprised by the outcome that I refused to read anything or watch the programs that I had been frequenting ..about this case..

A person from our town whose husband is a lawyer said that even though she was found not guilty...it doesnt mean she was innocent...

She is not going to have an easy life now...and that will be some of her just reward...people are not going to be running up to her and asking for autographs or photos of her...

Still my main thoughts will be with that dear little child that life ended so tragically and so early...

unfortunately i disagree with that.

there are people who think she is inocent (not even talking about the 12 on the jury) mostly men

now i truly wonder given the exact same situation, exact same personality and similar looks (meaning good looking) but male if "HE" would have been convicted. i'm guessing yes because people have a hard time thinking a mother would kill her own child but a father could.
