Hi can someone please help me,:rolleyes1
We are traveling on Eurostar and was wondering what we do about our cases,do we look after them or do they get taken to the Explorers hotel for us and we pick them up there?

hi

you keep your cases with you on the eurostar, when you get to marne le valle, you take the lift up stairs and drop them into the disney express, ( you usually get given tickets to go on cases on the train )

they will then get taken to your hotel, where you pick them up when you are ready, usually around four oclock

hope this helps

I thought this was only possible for those staying in Disney hotels, who had booked directly with Disney themselves, and signed up for Disney Express?

Everyone else has to get their own luggage to their hotel, or leave it at Guest Storage (free if you have a Dream Pass), and take it along later when you check in.

maybe i have it wrong then, we only ever stay at the sequoia lodge twice a year, so we have done the same evrytime

we have never signed up for the express though :confused3

SL is a Disney hotel, the Explorers is not (though it must be 'Disney approved' as it appears in the brochures I think?).

Maybe you don't have to sign up, perhaps simply booking direct with Disney automatically gets to Disney Express service?

AFAIK, if you book a package inclusive of Eurostar travel with Disney you get the Disney Express service automatically included whether you are staying at a Disney hotel or the off-site ones (Explorers, Holiday Inn, Kyriad, Dreamcastle). Some of the other tour operators have offered this with the off-site hotels in the past but not sure whether they still do.

Grunner, welcome to the DIS! :welcome: Not sure whether you've booked a package inclusive of travel or not. If you haven't, it's no big deal. You just take your cases with you on the #54 pink bus to the Explorers. If your room isn't ready they have a left luggage room. On check-out, you can either leave them at the left luggage at the hotel or you can put them in Guest Storage at the park (2.50 euros an item) or there are large lockers to hire at the station.

Wow, this is excellent news, I had always assumed it was restricted to Disney hotels themselves.

I don't suppose Disney also offer Dream Pass discounts on these off site hotels? If not then how does it work if you have a Dream Pass and want to book room only?

No, unfortunately you will only get the discount on Disney hotels.

If you've got an annual pass and want to stay off-site then you're best to book independently. There's a link in the Hotel FAQ sticky to a thread giving some of the websites that you could use.
