I'm in college and love cartoons.I'm hooked on Spongebob,Kim Possible,Cowboy Bebop,X-Men Evolution,Yi-Gi-Oh,Rocket Power,Rugrats,Dora, and just about anything on Toon Disney(even vintage toons on Cartoon network and Toon Disney)
I like the Bruce Timm cartoons -- Batman, Superman, Batman Beyond, and the Justice League. I don't have cable, so I have to buy the DVDs to watch the Justice League.
I saw the Teen Titans on the Cartoon Network when I visited my brother. I didn't think much of it.
I love the original Scooby Doo cartoons...no Scrappy Doo or Scooby Dum or no Sonny and Cher or the Harlem Globetrotters, Laurel & Hardy, Cass Elliot (?), Batman & Robin just the original 5. Liked the Flintstones before that stupid Kazoo also. The other day we were watching Boomerang on Cartoon Network or whatever its called, came across The All Star Laugh Olympics with the Scooby Doobys, Yogie Yahooies and Really Rottens and Richie Rich. Today my son watched Tom & Jerry I also was big into Super Friends. Those are the cartoons I can sit through, not many of the new ones, in fact switch that, none of the new ones, and by new I mean last 20 years LOL!!
Satine, I'm a big fan of the Adult Swin shows too, but don't seem to have many chances anymore to stay up that late to watch them. I don't know why they can't air them on Friday and Saturday nights too.
My absolute favorite is Home Movies. I wish that would be released on DVD but I doubt it's popular enough. It seems very similar (maybe the same creator?) to "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist", which used to be on Comedy Central. I loved that show.
Other faves include (some Adult Swim, some not):
Simpsons (of course!)
Futurama
Family Guy
Space Ghost Coast to Coast
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Also starting to get into Fairly Oddparents (pretty good!), and Spongebob (is nobody safe?!?!).
HuggaBaloo: for me it's the anime like Cowboy Bebop that hooked me into Adult Swim.Is Gudam Wing still around or did it move to the early shift? Futurama is on Cartoon Network and Family Guy on TBS I think
Satine, I'm afraid I never got into anime (at least I think those are anime) so I can't help you there. Actually I was pretty upset when they changed the Sunday night lineup and started showing something at 11:00 that has to do with the letter "O" and has the most annoying theme song I think I've ever heard (sounded like something from Sesame Street, only less creative!).
I have caught Family Guy on TBS (I think) and I do catch Futurama every now and then. I also bought the first season on DVD (haven't gotten the second yet). I never truly appreciated it when it first started because it was hard not to compare it to The Simpsons. But now I love it!
