We were watching "A Goofy Movie" and got into a discussion as to what type of creature Goofy is. Some say dog, but if he's a dog like Pluto, why does he talk, drive a car, wear clothers, etc. Also, what type of animal, veg, or mineral is "Black Pete"?

Do we need a life?

He could be a cow. Clarabelle speaks.

But he could be a dog and that Walt decided to give him a voice and not Pluto to keep Mickey the main focus.

Some say he's a wolf.

Does anyone know for sure?

I'm sort of an artist and you can tell that Goofy is a dog, because if you take the basic scheme of his head, and compare it to pluto's they are almost exactly the same.
