Carthay Lounge and signature fried biscuits

My friend and I want to enjoy the lounge at Carthay Circle by having a drink and small bite to eat. Would we be able to request an order of their biscuits even though they aren't on the lounge menu or not?

Unfortunately, not. The biscuits are not available in the lounge, only in the restaurant upstairs. However, the CC lounge menu is very good (even without the biscuits). You might find something delicious to go with your drinks. Do you like empanadas? The ones on the lounge menu are very tasty!

We love empanandas. We just may splurge on the meal upstairs in the restaurant though. I
ve enjoyed many a meal in the lounge and was just hoping we could get the biscuits down there with our drinks. Either that or just order our drinks and take them upstairs with us.

Totally hear you. Many people ask about getting the biscuits downstairs, but the lounge kitchen doesn't have a deep fryer. Upstairs is worth the splurge, though -- enjoy your meal!

We always end up going upstairs for the biscuits and the spicy duck wings. I haven't been in a while so not sure if the wings are still on the menu.

Just saw a post earlier today about them adding Sonoma Terrace lounge which serves the biscuits and other apps. New lounge upstairs and outside. Check out the website for them again. Wish it would have been in place 2 weeks ago as I would have loved to try those biscuits!!

Just to clarify: not the Sonoma Terrace, but the Carthay Circle Terrace Lounge (New Carthay Circle Lounge option... with biscuits!).

Oh very cool. I will check that out when my bff and I are the the 1st week of December. Although went I just checked the DL website the biscuits weren't on the menu for the Terrace. Just the restaurant menu.

Yes they are. Although we will just do the restaurant this trip and use the extra bonus money from some overtime work for a few trips to Ghiradeli for ice cream.

Okay I need to apologize to Ms. Deville and the luckyrabbit. I looked at the menu for the terrace upstairs and it seems they are using the same menu as from the restaurant so the wings and bscuits ARE served on the terrace upstairs. Makes me a happy camper. I can get my cocktail AND the biscuits to share.

This looks amazing and is definitely on our list for next month. Am I right in thinking we queue up for this like we used to do for Cove Bar? Do we just specify we would like the terrace instead of the lounge?

..I looked at the menu for the terrace upstairs and it seems they are using the same menu as from the restaurant so the wings and bscuits ARE served on the terrace upstairs. Makes me a happy camper. I can get my cocktail AND the biscuits to share.

That makes total sense. The upstairs terrace will have access to the CCR kitchen, which has a deep fryer (vs. the lounge kitchen which doesn't), so biscuits can be served!

Not sure. I will be there the first week of December so I can always report back on how to request the Terrace.
