Hello there,

I heard that the Carthay Circle Restaurant offers a package to see WOC. Can anyone explain a little more about this? How much does it cost? I will have a party of 2, if that helps. I am interested in trying this out for our next trip.

Thanks!!

With the CCT WOC FP each person in your party must order an entree and either an appetizer or dessert. I suggest searching for their menu (Check the dining tab on the top of this page) and figuring out what you may order. That will give you an idea of what you will be spending.

And the Carthay House Biscuits count as an appetizer. DH and found them to be very yummy!

DD16 and I did the WoC dining, we ordered the House Biscuits and we did not like them. :( We both ordered an entree and then we shared a dessert. We very much enjoyed the entrees and the dessert! There isn't a set price, your total will be based on what you order and you must remember to let your server know that you are doing the WoC dining to get your FPs. it was very enjoyable

How does this work for kids? Do they also have to order and entree and either starter or dessert (just off the kids menu)? It would be just me and my DD3. Still trying to figure out if its really worth it.

We did the WOC dining package at Wine Country last year. It seems to me that they had a special menu for the package and that we could not order off of the regular menu. Am I remembering this correctly? If so, I expect Carthay Circle will also have restrictions.

Yes, WCT has a special menu for the WoC reserved standing area. For adults it's $39.99 for dinner. The menu is here.

If so, I expect Carthay Circle will also have restrictions.

For CCR you just need to order an entree and an appetizer or dessert. I think the least expensive entree is $18 (Pappardelle Pasta with house made chicken meatballs) and the least expensive appetizer/dessert is $8 (Carthay House Biscuits, which I did *NOT* like at all, yuck). So about $26 minimum. The menu is here.

I would go with the WCT WoC reserved standing area because I think it's better than the CCR reserved standing area.

You must each order an entree and you must order 1 appetizer/1 dessert, 2 appetizers or 2 desserts. Any combination but you must each order 2 items from the menu. I'm sure if they have children's desserts you can order her one from that menu with no problems. :)

CCT does not have restrictions other than what I mentioned above. Personally I found the CCT viewing area to be very nice and DD and I were able to see quite well for the first showing on a Sunday in July. :)

This may not be in the right thread....
if not, please move it.

We will be going to DLR in December and planning on doing WOC as it was just under construction the first time we went.
We haven't decided where to eat yet (to get the preferred dining viewing).
Can someone explain the difference in viewing areas depending on which restaurant you choose. I was under the impression (and believe you me, I could be wrong!!!!) it didn't make any difference where you ate as long as you had a preferred dining pass and was first in line as to where we could stand.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Yes, the kids menu has both starters (though its just salad or soup) and desserts separate from the entrees so I figured it would be similar.

Thanks!
