In choosing either a lunch or dinner WOC package which has better food? We will be 4 adults and 2 children (8 and 10). Or Ariel's? Can't decide!

Thanks!

I've never eaten at Wine Country, but we had the CC WOC dinner package and it was fantastic. Great food, great atmosphere, we even went out on the balcony and got to watch the Pixar Play Parade go by.

We enjoyed the experience so much we are going back to Carthay for our "big" (non WOC) meal during our August trip!

Carthay Circle was awesome, and I recommend it to everyone...! The menu is bigger than Wine Country and it just sounded more appealing to me. Plus my husband isn't a big pasta fan. I have been wanting to try the little terrace at WCT for their meat and cheese plates with a cold drink.

CC hands down! Worth the price jump for the great food and atmosphere. WCT felt cafeteria like to me. Plus the WOC viewing area for CC is much better.

We've done both twice and definitely prefer CC over WCT. WCT was okay but CC was lovely.

I've never cared for WCT. To me it just seems like over priced pasta that I could easily get at home. We love CC. The atmosphere and the food are both way better than WCT.

I've never done the WoC dining packages, but in a comparison between CC and WCT, for my family we would also pick Carthay without a doubt. WCT was okay, but as others have said, it's pretty basic Italian. The food was tasty, but nothing outstanding or really memorable. Carthay is on my family's list of favorite places in DLR. The food is very good (although my favorite appetizers isn't included on the WoC dining package menu) and the atmosphere is nice. Slightly more upscale than the other theme park restaurants, but not stuffy.

Thank you ALL! So Carthay is not stuffy??! We will have two boys ages 8 and 10 with us?? And did not know the viewing areas were different for the different restaurants? Does it matter if we book lunch or dinner?

I have eaten with my kids at CC many times. We have also done WCT twice and Ariel's twice. Food is best by far at CC. In terms of stuffiness factor, they are certainly used to serving kids in CC, so while the dining room is truly lovely, you will not feel out of place there w kids. That said, if you prefer you can eat out on the CC terrace which is a bit more casual and can be very nice in good weather. It is the same menu as the dining room just seating outside on the second floor.

I did WOC lunch at CC in December 2014 and it was great, my party of 4 all really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The only reason was chose lunch over dinner was we saved about $15 a person that way!

We've taken our now 9 year old there twice and have never had an issue.

Some people prefer to do the WOC lunch instead of dinner because the lunch is quite a bit less. We've always done the dinner because if you book an early dinner, you can watch the Pixar parade from the upper balcony. We book at 5:00 pm reservation and the time has always worked out really well.

I took my twin DS-8 to CC for WOC lunch when they were 6 and they loved it. Not stuffy at all and because my guys love all things Disney, they were fascinated with the glimpse into the past the pictures on the wall offered.

Yes agree with Carthay Circle. We've taken DD when she was 3 and 4. And it's fine. Ariel's Grotto is much more enjoyable for young kids though. Never cared for the WCT.

So Carthay is not stuffy??!

Our lunch reservation for CC was literally 10 minutes after we got off of GRR, without wearing ponchos. We were drenched! The interior is elegant, but not stuffy. And the servers treated my DS9 the same as my parents. My son felt quite mature that day, with our server call him sir! And the food was amazing!

We always do the CC WOC lunch. My DD has been going since she was a baby and is now 4 and enjoys it there. Depends on how you perceive your children behave in restaurants in general. At 8 and 10 I assume they're used to eating in restaurants and can behave themselves (although last time we ate at CC there was a young boy whom was berating his parents loudly and the mom looked at me apologetically and said "He's got ADHA" which just didn't have any bearing on his loud, disrespectful behavior). We love the food at CC and while none of us have allergies, my DH is Vegetarian and they always have a great veg meal in the WOC package.

My niece and nephew are 4 and 7 and they are...um, rambunctious...and my cousin and her family never eat with us there because she knows her kids won't behave well in that environment.

I've only seen WOC from the CC viewing area so we show up 20 minutes before the show and always have a great viewing spot (I'm vertically challenged :flower:) to view it.

If you do CC WOC make sure you pay extra and add on the biscuits...mmmm...sooooo good :lovestruc
