Okay, so I am a little late to the party; however, I just had to say your boys are adorable! They remind me of my oldest two when they were younger. I will try to keep up; however, I already know I will not. Just know I will be keeping an eye out for all of the planning!

My little hero did great today!! The dentist ended up pulling just two teeth on the bottom. He got a little gas during and just had a few tears! Right now he is so numb and can't understand why his lip doesn't look funny since it feels funny! Looks like icecream for dinner. Tomorrow I am taking him to his first Husker football game. He is sooooo excited!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. I know we all ate our fair share! We are still in the waiting mode and hoping this week we hear something. When we were buying the boys MAW bracelets their was a lady shopping and she heard us talking to the clerk about Carter being a wish kid. She said she is a wish granter in western NE. Thought that was pretty neat. Yesterday I took Carter for his blood draw to check titres. He had a sinus infection a few weeks ago and last weekend had croup. We need to see if he is getting enough immunoglobulin. We may need to up his dose for winter. He did very good and didn't even cry! We went and painted pottery afterwards for a special treat! Have a great rest of the weekend and crossing fingers for some news soon!

Sorry Carter hasn't been feeling well lately, praying the lab results are good. Yay for the pottery painting - sounds fun.

Looks like we won't know if Carter's wish is approved until the end of December, so still in a holding pattern! I just need to be patient! Easier said than done!

MAW of Nebraska hold 2 big radiothons this month. Friday Dec 7 it is held in Omaha (about an hour away) I have to be at work that day. MAW wants me to do an on air interview about Carter wanting to go on a firework cruise as well as how knowing he is a wish kid has helped him with weekly treatments. Lets hope I don't mess up! Then on 12/12 KFRX holds one at our local mall and all kids are invited to ride the carousel with the dj, so I'm going to take Carter to meet all of the MAW staff. We also go to do a photo shoot with his wish granter Sara yesterday. She is a photographer and offered to take the boys pictures. I have seen a couple of the shots and they are awesome!!! She also told Carter they are working hard to get his wish pushed through faster! YEA!!!
