Cart Rental Question

Well actually it is 2 questions...First, Do you have to be staying at Ft Wilderness to rent a cart? We will be at the Swan, but have friends staying in a cabin. Thought a cart would be fun for a day out of the parks...but wasn't sure if they would let us rent one. How much are they? Can you rent for 1/2 days or just full days??

at one point you could rent carts for i think 12.00 per hour, the cart policy seems to change quite frequently - used to be a 24 hour rental now its out by 1pm in by 11 am, call the bike barn to inquire - you could probably work somethig out.

We were staying offsite last March and came into FW for a morning just to soak in the atmosphere (we love it that much!) and we rented a cart for an hour. Technically all of the carts were reserved, but the CM said we could rent it for an hour. She also told us if we didn't have it back right on time they would come out looking for us, because it was definitely reserved for that afternoon! It was $12 for the hour, but I don't know if they are still doing that.
