Cart blues..advice?

Hello All, after many years of dreaming about a TX to Fort RV trip, we arrived today. Somehow while looping in a cart rental by Kenny, our cart ran out of juice, but worse, my husband's iPhone was swallowed up by the dash. We can hear it, but not reach it. Strange! Hopefully Kenny's guys can help us tomorrow, but we have to lose a day of use, leaving it at the site. Our walking is limited due to my daughter's broken foot. Slim chance, though any advice? Thanks!

Well I guess any advice would be based upon what you wanted to do. You can certainly use the Disney transportation to get around. If you are looking to "Site See" at the campground, as long as you basically keep moving you could drive around in your car (assuming you have one) but there are basically no places to park the car (like there is the carts or bikes). Also it's generally discouraged to drive around in your car, but if you are not being obnoxious about it, I doubt anyone will have an issue.

Don't know how old your daughter is, but if she is older and you wanted to drop her off at a location (such as near the pool) to minimize the walking, you could but then you'd have to take your car back to the site to park it.

I am not sure if you could "Rent" a wheel chair at the fort or not, but certainly in the parks you can.

Sorry you're having difficulties. Unfortunately, if you had rented from the Fort, they would have replaced it immediately and you would not be without the transportation. Be sure to ask Kenny to refund your day charge, he should be available to service his rentals if they break down. You could still rent a FW cart if you'd like to. There are almost always some available. I'm sure you'll find a way to enjoy your time (and hopefully get the phone out)!

1) This is hard to visualize.
2) I know golf carts, and few have open holes for things like phones to lodge.
3) Is the missing phone behind he center of the dash (sliding from an open hole on either side)?
4) If so, you should be able to retrieve it.

Thank you all for your responses! The phone was retrieved the following day, and miraculously did not have water damage, and the cart was serviced well by Kenny's team with a new battery. We were really pleased with the rental and LOVED our time at the Fort. Certainly a tiny hiccup compared with the recent tragedies in Orlando. I can't even imagine what the family across the lagoon at Grand Floridian is dealing with tonight. Thanks again.
