Carseats in taxis

We'll be in DW at the end of April and for the most part, will be using Disney transportation. We do, however, have a few ADR's at other resorts so on some days will be taking the bus to a resort for dinner from the park. If we want to take a taxi back to our own resort after dinner, are taxis with carseats available? Because we will be at the park during the day, taking a carseat with us is not really an option. Also, there are six of us - so we would need a taxi van - but only one carseat. Thanks for any tips!

We have gotten taxis with carseats several times. The CMs working at the valet have helped us out -- they call into Mears and have them radio for a taxi with a carseat. Sometimes there is one already waiting in the line otherwise they send one and we never waited more than 5 minutes.

just be careful, when we were there a few years ago and had to take our DD to the hospital we called for a cab with a carseat from mears and waited about 30 mins before calling them back to see why our cab had not arrived and the man told us that after 15 mins if they dont find a cab for us with a carseat they cancel the call so had i not called back we would have been waiting a long time.
