Carseats and Booster Seats w/ FLTours

Just curious is anyone has used FLTours and their carseats and /or booster seats for your kids? We will be using them in Oct. and have indicated on our reservation that we will need one of each.

For those, who have used them, what was the quality of the carseat/boosterseat?

Two years ago, we used another car service, who provided seats, and the seats looked SO old and outdated. I remember asking the driver if the carseat met all of the current carseat requirements for safety. He assured me that it did, but honestly, whatelse is he going to tell me.

I too was concerned about the age of the car seat before we left. I ended us bringing ours for the plane, but DD wouldn't stay in it because she couldn't put down the lap tray. We used the car seat with FL. Tours, it was already in the car. They weren't brand new but was secured in the car very well. I felt comfortable with my DD in it. I don't know about the booster seat.

Sorry to bring back an old post, but I emailed last week to find out about FL Tours boosters, and this was my response:

"Regarding your car seat Vs Booster seat dilemma, we do have all types of booster seat. When and if you decide to utilize our service, when filling out your reservation from our online reservation form, be sure to tell us in the special request box that you would like to have the high back booster seat and we’ll be sure to provide with one."

We just used FL Tours and had requested 2 car seats (2 year old and 1 year old). When we were picked up, the driver (Tony) handed us the car seats from the back of the van for us to install - not fun, but at least we knew they were secure. The car seats were not new, but were in acceptable condition. On the trip from our resort back to the airport, the car seats were already installed in the back of the van, but one strap was not installed properly on one car seat. Not having to lug around car seats was nice but if you don't want the hassle of dealing with strange/incomplete car seats, bring your own.
