carseat on the airplane

I just flew w/ my 3yr old in an airline seatbelt and my 18m old in a CARES harness. My 3yr old did very very well and the seatbelt was nowhere near loose on hime...I could tighten it down as far as I needed. My youngest did really well in the CARES and the flight attendants commented on how great of an invention it was and how much it helps. I will be doing the same thing in Dec. We checked our carseat.
