Cars (the movie) at Disney

My DS has become Cars obsessed. We are going to WDW in Oct. and I was wondering if there is anything related to the movie there? Would love to see Lighting McQueen!!!!

When we were down the first part of June we were able to see Lighting and Mater at MGM. Hopefully they will still be there for you in OCT.

We just got back and Mater and Lightening appear at MGM- But they are full size cars! so be prepared my son was freaked out by them, even though he loved the movie. They are really cool. And it is a free for all with photos- basically you just step up to a part of the car and take a photo along with about 50 others.

MGM..they are in the parade and also sometimes 'parked' around in MGM.

Last Sunday, they ( Ligthning and Mater) led the Parade at MGM. They were really cute. I did not see a photo opportunity with them, but I could have missed it.

I just wanted to post the spot too- they come down from the area on the left of the LMA stadium- then they drive up what now is I guess a san fran area- down the street to finally park right in front of the Chrysler(I think it was Chrysler) sign on NY street.

I just got back a couple of weeks ago, and we saw them at MGM too!

Tip........ when entering the park, grab a show list (next to the park maps) and on it is a list of what time and where you can see the characters. Lightning Mcqueen and Mater were on there for 10:00 am right in front of Lights, Motors, Action Stunt show. We saw them coming out and got some really good pics for my son who loves them too! It's all in the timing!!!!!! Hopefully, it will be the same when you go in Oct. Have fun!

When we were at MGM in June!

We saw them in the parade and then using the park schedule
were able to locate them for a photo op!

I got great photos and my son was so thrilled!

no they don't talk but their eyes move. But Lightning revs his enging and Mator has a clanky engine that wobbles around. notice the hidden mickey on him?

They said their canned phrases when we saw them going down the street. They didn't talk though when they were parked for pictures though.
