Cars Room Selection @ AoA + Pack N Play Question

Hey All!

We'll be at Disney the last week of January and we already have our rooms booked in the Cars section at AoA.

Are there any tips in trying to get the best location in that section at Disney? We'll have two older grandparents with us and we'd like to try to eliminate as much walking to the buses/parking lots as possible and also would like to eliminate as much outside noise as we can with the babies.

Also, does Disney in fact guarantee you to have a pack n play? We'll need two. I'm sure according to Disney standard they will be clean and safe for the little ones. We had a bad experience on our most recent vacation with a hotel's pack n play so I'm a little concerned about it this time around.

I don't think you'll have any trouble with the pack n plays. I've used one at Disney multiple times and never had an issue. If they give you one that isn't in proper condition (which I don't foresee happening), simply demand a replacement. I'm sure they have tons. One night my son spit up all over his and I needed a brand new one. I called for one and it was delivered to the room. Simple as that.

Regarding the location of your room, AoA is a spread out resort and there will be a walk from the main building to the Cars section. However, I didn't find the walk awful at all. Whether the grandparents can handle it depends on their physical condition. It is nothing like the walking they'll do in the parks all day. Simply request "close to transportation" on your online check-in. The bus stops are right in front of the main building. Disney is great about trying to accommodate your requests.

I think the Cars section is generally fairly quiet because it's not an area you walk through to get to other parts like the Lion King section is. Your rooms closer to the buses in buildings 1/3 are also going to be closer to the big pool, but i don't think the noise would be bad enough to outweigh the benefit of the shorter walk. If you're driving there are parking lots adjacent to buildings 1 and 2.
