Hi,

Could someone tell me how "spinny" this ride is ? My ds 5 hates the teacups ride but is desperate to have a go on Lightning when we visit in a couple of weeks :goodvibes

Thanks

Michelle

Not long to go till our first trip :cool1:

I'd say your DS will not like Cars if he doesn't line the Teacups. The Teacups at least you can control the spinning. Whereas Cars IMHO is faster :)

I don't do the Teacups as I can't take the spinning. DS & DF were sick the day we done the Studios and I had to step in and go on Cars with my DDs. I came off and headed for the nearest toilet, I thought I was going to throw up.

Oh no he is gonna be so disappointed :sad2:

But thank you all for warning me - glad I asked !

What were Disney thinking of as it is obviously aimed at little ones :confused3

Oh well I'm sure there will be plenty of other things he will enjoy but I do feel a lttle sad as only today he watched Cars again and was talking about being Lightning !:sad1:

my sons 11 and 5 loved it

but it made me feel light headed and bit drunken like ! lol

my dd loved it! I don't even dare going onto this ride:rotfl2:

I don't really like the teacups, although DD loves them.

I don't mind Cars at all - and DD absolutely loves them too. They are more spinny than the teacups, but maybe its the different way they spin as opposed to the teacups that makes me feel a bit better when I come off Cars?

The cars that you ride in aren't lightning, sally etc, they are generic ones, coloured in red, blue and green (ligtning, sally, flo).

I think its a great ride (too short though), such a shame your little one might not like it.

We queued for this from 9.45, then about 10.05 were told that it wasnt working-gggrrrr ! To be honest it didnt look that exciring, my son loved autopia in the main park where you get a long ride and get to drive yourself.

I don't like spinning rides but I was really looking forward to trying out both Cars and Crush's Coaster. I probably wont be able to now in case I get sick

Oh no he is gonna be so disappointed :sad2:

Even if your son doesn't go on the Cars ride itself there is always Lightning McQueen & Mater to see (and Luigi, Guido & the Leaning Tower of Tyres near the ride entrance) My DS(4) went on the ride, but l think he loved seeing the vehicles even more. Cars is one of his favourite films.

Is there a play area or just the "display"?
