Big, big turnout today. DCA opened up early again, and by 8am the line for RSR was extending down the entire length of Carsland. Standby wait estimated at 200 min. Single rider at 1 hour.

Thanks for the update. I figured it would be big time ugly today!

DD & I did single rider line yesterday afternoon and we waited 1 hour. The other people in our car did standby line and their wait time was 2.5 hours. We lucked out and had someone hand us fastpasses since the wait time was longer than they expected, and when we went back to use those our wait time was 40 minutes.

Just a heads up on the single rider line: we did get in the same car, but many did not. We watched a mom throw a bit of a fit because she and her son were sent to different cars. She got no sympathy or accomodation from the CM (nor should she IMO) it's completely luck of the draw.

When you say opened early, is that separate from the early admission or w/e they call it at DCA? Sorry I get confused with the different acronyms: EE, MM, EMH etc etc lol.

Anyway are they just deciding to open early for crowd control?

Noticing the rest of the parks(s) are doing pretty decently as far as lines are concerned. I feel pretty good about going on Wednesday now. If there is only one ride that is more than 30-45 min, I think that's pretty good.

Today was an early park opening for everyone. AFAIK the special early entries for resort guests and APers don't begin until tomorrow.

This is a great tip for those with children. And kudos to the CM for not giving in. Single Rider means just that. The only thing I think Disneyland needs to do is take a page from WDW and post signs that say you will be split up. No exceptions like at WDW.
