Gotta be honest, that doesn't seem all THAT bad. If 3 hours, 1.5 hours, and 1 hour represent the max wait time for these rides then IMO the dire predictions of madness for months on end might be overstated. I think tomorrow around mid-afternoon will be the real test, if the lines don't get any longer than this at that time then it'll be a relief in my book.

Of course I probably just jinxed the whole thing and will end up being in a 7-hour line for RSR during my next visit :rotfl:

I don't know how valid Touring Plans submitted wait times are, but within one hour of opening, it is listed as a 300 minute wait time (though someone submitted Radiator Springs as having a 360 minute wait time), and all fastpasses were gone for the day. During the AP preview Sunday night, my family got on in 15 mnutes. Well worth the money! :goodvibes

LOL. In light of newly provided data, I would like to recall my previous post in this thread :lmao:

Touringplans app reporting a posted wait time of 365 minutes for RSR. Crazy.

Wow! I just don't think I would stand in a line that long for anything. We went to the preview Monday and it said the line was 50 minutes but it broke down several times and ended up taking us 2 hours. I thought that was pretty bad, limped around all the next day (feet and legs are not great to begin with). Usually I'm good for an hour max, I really can't imagine 5+.

No way would I stand in line for 5 hours just to ride a ride, when there is so much other fun stuff to do and see. And I certainly wouldn't have my child wait that long and miss all the other stuff.

It's just a ride, after all.

I waited in line for 3 hours for Rocket Rods and still look back and say I was crazy.

here here and i dont understand why anyone would even consider waiting 5 hours in a line for anything...dont they realize thats going to mean they may get 2 rides in the entire day???

5 hours is crazy. Anyone remember what the wait was for Star Tours when it reopened? I don't but we didn't ride it without a FP and we were there a few days after it opened. I do remember that line going out into the hub and being routed around the partners statue in the middle.

I will gladly skip RSR if I have to wait longer than an hour and a half. Even THAT is pushing it for me. So many other things to do.

No idea about Star Tours, but this conjures up memories of a certain wizrd in Orlando near the Mouse House...

And remember, they probably already stood in line half the night to get in!

But really, their goal is not to experience the whole park today, it's really to be able to say they rode the ride on opening day. It's one of those crazy things people do for fun, like climbing a mountain or bungee jumping.

Back before Fast Passes, and when Splash Mountain was brand new, we waited 3 hours in the hot sun... got a good burn too. Now that sounds CRAZY!!:rolleyes1
