Cars Land strategy suggestions

Yup! Will do. I'll be testing it out in exactly 2 weeks on the 14th. :thumbsup2

Can someone explain to me what Screamin' being disconnected means? I assumed it meant the FP machine wasn't working.

It means its not running with other fastpass machines so you can hold a pass for screaming and for another ride at the same time without waiting for time on the pass....Roger Rabbit in DL is usually disconnected too....from what I understand they can connect and disconnect when they want....hopefully this makes sense LOL

Yes, this past Saturday was an incredible day to be at the parks

I was there also 6/23, the lines were incredibly short. We got there around 1pm or so and headed straight for RSR single rider line. We were on the ride in LESS THAN 20 MINUTES (even though the sign said 45 minutes)! The young couple I sat next to had waited 2 hours in the regular line to ride! My 2 DS's got to ride in the same car, one behind the other.

I think we rode RSR, Screamin', and TSMM in less than 90 minutes or so.

We went on Monday with a FP. The FP are usually gone by 9. The FP line was apporox a 45 min wait for us.

DLR29, How was the trip? Any tips??

We just returned from our first trip to DLR and had early entry for DCA on Wednesday, July 18. We were in line 15 minutes before park opening at 7am and headed straight for RSR. When we entered the RSR line the wait time was 20 minutes and we were on the ride before 7:30. Great Ride! We the rode Mater and headed off towards Tower of Terror and the line for RSR FP was already approaching the Alladan Theater.

Anyone know how long the FP line for RSR is at park opening? Will be there on Friday and am not staying at a DL resort so won't have early entry. Wondering if we should wait in the FP line the second we get there or if we should just go to the standby line?

My friend is there today. She is staying offsite, so no early entry. She was at the park at regular opening and went right to RSR with her family of 5, including a preschooler in a stroller. Their wait was 45 minutes.

Thanks so much for that info! Was the 45 min wait for the FP or stanby line?

I was there last Friday, the 20th. We stayed at PPI and did not have any early entry. The turnstiles opened up at 7:30 am, and I went straight to RSR fastpass line with my group's tickets. I ended up in the covered queue area between Carthay Circle and Playhouse Disney. The distribution started at 8:00, and I had my fastpasses by 8:20, with a return time of 11:30 am. :)

I was going to write. But this was EXACTLY our experience yesterday right down to the return time. Met a DISer in line! (pinkbudgie)

Me too, but on Wednesday the 18th. Our return time was 12:30. My wife took the kiddos and rode Maters. Then I rode Maters with the kids at about 8:30. Being our last day and first real crack at the ride (tried on 7/13 when the ride was closed all day), we didn't want to risk the ride breaking down so we went to use our FP right at 12:30 and got on the ride in about 10 minutes. So yes, we had to get up a bit early and wait in line for the FP, but what else are we going to do before rope drop? Without early entry, I don't put any value on what happens before 8 am. So in total, I waited 30 minutes for the ride while the wife and kids only waited 10 minutes. Not bad.
