Cars characters

We saw on our Disney DVD the Lightening McQueen car in the park. I was shocked that it was an actual car. Do you have any idea if there are any other characters from that movie and where do you find them? Do they talk? This is an absolute must do for my 7 year old.

We saw Lightning & Mater in DHS -- they had the times posted on the schedule.

They only have Lightning and Mater at DHS. They both are full size, working cars. Last year, they emerged from a fence across from and a little past Pixar Place, as you are walking towards the Backlot tour.

Neither of them talk, but they are animated. Lightning roars his motor, and Mater rattles and honks a sickly horn.

They are also in the parade.

When we were there in May '08 (almost a year ago already) They only had Mater; oh my son was NOT HAPPY to say the least. The whole week we were there it was only Mater and he was not in the parade.
Hopefully when we go in Nov this year they will both be there.
