Carrying water bottles in parks - how?

Re: the taste of the water....

I remember a post a while back that said brita make s small sport bottle size bottles with filters in them...

Don't know why that stuck in my head, and I think I remember someone mentioning it could be purchased at Target???

I found some the other day at Wal Mart, back where they have the water purificator stuff. I didn't buy them because I have some I bought last year and still have some of the filters for them. Will, I didn't know they were being discontinued. Our Wal Mart has quite a few of them. Maybe Brita is coming back out with them again.

I do carry a backpack with our water bottles and all the other items that you tote around in the parks. I found a insulated small bag fits 4 water bottles, I keep that inside the backpack ( keeps them good and cold ). While on the rides I position the backpack on the floor of the ride and looping my legs through the straps. Not a problem for all the big rids, even Rock N' Roller Coaster.

DH and I use a Camelbak to lug our water and stuff around the parks. They come in various sizes, depending on how large/small a pack you need. The one we usually take has a removable water bladder that we partially fill with bottled water and freeze the night before. The next morning we add more cold bottled water to fill up the bladder and put it in the special compartment of the backpack. It has a straw-like hose with a valve at the end so you can just twist the valve and take a sip as you walk along. No caps to lose. We put all of our other necessities in the main compartment (anything that can't get wet gets ziploc bagged first) or the small outside pocket (for things we need often). There's even a nylon zip cord on the outside that we use to hold our hats/jackets. We've taken it on all the rides (except EE) and we just put our feet through the straps to hold it down.
