How do we carry these. Last time we had one backpack, but we also had a stroller. Now that we don't need a stroller - how do we carry the water bottles and other necessities without using lockers? Help!

We bought water bottle holders at Wal-Mart. They also sell water bottle straps in the parks. You can carry a small bag and put your sunscreen, camera, etc. in there.

What about riding with this bag or the attached water bottles?

Isn't it uncomfortable? We h ave fanny packs but they are not big enough to fit much.

I carry a back pack and put very small sunscreen bottles in it. Each of us carries an insulated water bottle bag that has it's own strap. On most rides, I hold the bag. On RnRC or Space Mtn. I put my bag on the floor and wrap the strap around my leg. I've never had a problem with doing it this way.

It's tough at first giving up the stroller for all of your stuff, but then your kids grow up a bit and start carrying some of their own stuff. ;)

We carry a backpack. I make sure there are 2 outside pockets big enough to hold our insulted waterbottles (can't handle the straps and carrying them by themselves.). We take turns carrying the pack and of course only bring needed items. We do carry snacks, sunscreen, tickets, money, meds, etc. in the pack.

I will always have a backpack I think, even when DD’s are in the teens. It is the best way to hold things IMO.

You could go to Target, Wal-Mart, what ever store you want and look for a backpack purse, they are smaller than school pack packs, or even try the 4-6 section of girls/boy clothing I have seen smaller backpacks in those sections of Mervyns and different stores.

Best of luck, let us know what you do.

We always carry a backpack, and take turns carrying it. They do have the water botte straps at the parks and we have those too and they work well. I think I saw little bottles of sunscreen that were about 3 inches tall that could clip onto a belt loop or something like that at walmart, you could try to find a few of those maybe.

I found a product called the Aquaclip very handy while visiting Disney. All the kids were able to carry there own water bottle, leaving my back pack much lighter to carry around. The Aquaclip converts a water or soda bottle into a canteen, even has a built in cap wrench. I think you can purchase for $3.00.

Very intersting, are they very secure? I Would hate to have it falling off. I did find the website for these. Only $3, including shipping. Not bad! THANKS! :sunny:
Heres the website:

I definitely recommend the small size bottles of sunscreen. I brought a regular size that we used before we left the room and then just the small one during the day when we needed it. I also second the backpack idea. Worth having the room

I am going to agree with everyone else...go for the backpack! My DH usually carries it, and it's great to just throw it over your back (or DH's back!) and have everything you need available. I don't carry a purse or anything!

I think Coppertone is selling the large bottles of waterbabies with a small clip on bottle that you can refill daily. I got one last year and look to buy a new one this year just to keep in my purse. You never know when you will be out too long with out protection.

The Aquaclip is very secure, they come in different colors too, helps with personalizing your own water bottle. The kids think there fun to use which incourages them to drink more water and not soft drinks.

I carry a backpack with lotion, bandaids, water and wipes. It's a must for us.

I found an awesome backpack at Walmart after weeks of searching for one. IT goes diagonal across you and velcros shut (it also snaps for security). It is easy on easy off. It is not too big and holds my cameras, autograph books, wipes, sunscreen, and any other little needs. It just sits at my feet or next to me on the rides. Never had any trouble. Will use it again. It was cheap too and very durable. :grouphug:
