Carrying money

I am wondering what people do about carrying their cash around with them whilst in Disney.
Do you take out what you need for the day and leave the rest in the room's safe? Are the safes safe, if that word hasn't started to look funny yet?
I am slightly worried as there are three of us going and we are 18 year old girls so we don't want to be the targets of people "dipping" or pickpocketing even though we will be careful, tying together the zips on rucksacks etc.
Any advice is greatly appreciated :)

I honestly didn't carry that much cash on me while on my trip. I used my debit card or KTTW if I was spending money on anything. I am sure if you keep your wallet safe on your person that you'll be OK. I think if you are safe with it walking around at school or being out somewhere, that you'll be just as safe at WDW.

I haven't heard any stories of things being stolen at WDW and hopefully it doesn't happen that often!

If I take a bag it's a cross body one otherwise I've got my card in my purse along with my AP and id card and that goes in one front pocket and my phone, keys goes in the other front pocket.

If you don't have a cross body bag and take a back pack thing just wear it in front of you when you are watching the parade and Dreams.

The rest of the time I wouldn't be to bothered...just remember not to put it on the back of your chair for example when you eat but that's the same everywhere you go nowadays sadly :sad2:

I normaly keep my Euros in the hotel safe and just take about 50 Euros out as spending money each day, and everything else I charge to my room or pay by debit card.
