Carry On

Leave from PHL Apr 30 & return back May 4. Going to just bring a carryon. Is a backpack considered a personal item or would it be considered carry on luggage? Was gonna use a rolling carry on with back pack.

Your "personal item" must be small enough to fit under the seat in front of you. As long as your backpack fits those dimensions you'll be fine.

If the backpack will fit under the seat in front of you it won't be a problem. If you have a bulkhead seat, you must put both items in the overhead compartment.
