I am leaving Saturday, and was hoping someone can tell me where is best to pack a few items....security wise.

1)my pal mickey

2)pins & lanyard

3)prescription meds - this one I assume must be okay as carry on, but would like confirmation. Particularly an inhaler.

4)glow sticks

I am posting this on the family and transportation boards.

Thanks in advance.

1. no problem to pal mickey being in your carry on

2. no problem i also put my pins in carry on

3. No problem you can put all meds in carry on and you have the right to request them to inspect them by hand instead of haveing them xrayed. YOu just have to requet it before you put them through the xray.

4. i think you be okay i read on here the same question and other disers said yes but i sure someone will answer.

Have a fun and safe trip

Thanks so much for the quick response. :worship:

Your welcome know you just have to worry about getting through one more day which will feel like the longest day.

:) Amen to that. I should finish packing, since that is the reason I got on the boards in the first place.

Ahh, I suppose, off to pack. thanks again.

Do not pack the glow sticks in your carry on!!! I have a friend who does night diving with these and had them confiscated by TSA from her carry on. They contain liquid and must be treated like other liquids in your luggage. Be safe and pack these in a ziplock in your checked baggage! :thumbsup2

Have a great trip!

Another vote for checking the glowsticks. They have liquid in them and aren't marked with ounces. And they don't really fit in your 311 baggie, especially if you keep them in their container.
