So I am starting to pack for my trip to Disney (:woohoo:), and I was wondering what kind of stuff you put in your carry-on to entertain you during the flight down there. Everytime I pack my carry-on, I never pack the right stuff, and I become completely bored on the plane.
So..

What's usually in your carry-on?
Does this stuff help you stay entertained?
What do you use as your carry-on (i.e tote bag, purse, etc.)?

Thanks in advance. [:

hah im having the same issue. Im going to Sea World Camp in San Antonio for 10 days and im stuck on what to bring. my regular suitcase will be packed way pass capacity, but im thinking of just bringing my carryon in a backpack. LIke ipod, magazines and camera and cell phone. thats all i really need.

What's usually in your carry-on? ipod, Cell Phone
What do you use as your carry-on (i.e tote bag, purse, etc.)? A purse or a G string backpack

If you bring a liquid, it has to be in a 3 ounce or smaller container, then you need to place it in a clear quart size plastic bag with those zipper closing things.
It depends on the airline for you to bring laptops, cell phones, pagers and things like that on the plane, some let you and some don't. It's best to just leave it in your suitcase.
You can't bring anything sharp like scissors or a knife, though I don't know why you would, so don't take that.
Don't but somethign to eat or drink before security, buy it in the airport or on the plane.
You'll need to bring a book, magazine or something to read, and an mp3 player or iPod to entertain yourself.
If the hour is less than 3 hours long, you definitely need something to bring because they don't always show movies if it is a short flight.

I don't bring much, because I usually sleep even before the plane takes off, then if I wake up I watch a movie, and I've been on 8 hour flights before, and didn't even need to bring anything.
I used to bring a backpack, but now I got the worlds lightest carry on, it's amazing if you fly a lot you should get it.

I usually have:

Ipod. (or some form of music device. The last time I went was two years ago and I still had a walkman back then xP)
Book.
Magazine (or an Archie comic book).
Something to draw or write in.

What's usually in your carry-on? extra change of clothes, mp3 player, cds, sometimes dvd player, books, word searches, coloring books, basically anything
Does this stuff help you stay entertained? yah for the most part. at least 3/4 of the trip. the other fourth i bother my mom!
What do you use as your carry-on (i.e tote bag, purse, etc.)? i used to use a limited too bag. it was like a beach bag. this year, here's what im using (which i also sometimes use as a purse)

($15 at Aeropostale!)

I use one of those Adidas drawstring backpacks. It fits a good amount. I usually throw a book, magazine, and an iPod in there. And if I have schoolwork that I'm missing, I'll throw that in there too. I only have a 2 hour plane ride to Fla, so that keeps me entertained.

What's usually in your carry-on? ipod, cell phone, dvd player, coloring books, markers,** yeah i color, you got a problem with that!**
Does this stuff help you stay entertained?yup!

its a champion tote bag, it works really well

:thumbsup2

I usually bring I-pod. game boy, book, magazines, note book, pencils
I bring it in a backpack or big purse thing (like a hobo bag)
And it usually keeps me entertained...but then again a pipe cleaner can keep me entertained for awhile

I usually have my iPod and laptop and play Sims2 on the way.

Uhm quick question--

are razors allowed on a carry on?

To entertain me on the plane sometimes I'll pack;
- portable DVD player
- iPod
- book
- notebook [write about the trip & draw]
- cards [my brother & I get bored easily]
- magazines

I used to bring a Gameboy when I was younger.

Have fun on your trip whenever you go, I leave this month :)

-I take my crayons to draw and color about disney
- take lots of paper in a folder
- I take my i-pod with the charger
- I take my build-a-bear
- I take lots of snacks
- I also take portable games
- I take my Disney Planner, including pens and pencils to write with
- I take my Disney Princess crown there 'cause I'm afraid it might get broken in the luggage during the flight.
- I sometimees take my mickey ears in the backpack also
- I will take this year a notebook to write in

( My carry-on is a larage kippling back-pack, that's why I'm mentioning lots of stuff.):cutie:

I was pretty shocked when I read that, I was all like.. *** ARE YOU INSANE?!
But then you wouldn't get past security :P

Well, it's a short flight. I bring a book and my iPod. Most of the time I'm too excited to do anything and just look out the window. :hyper:
On longer flights I brought a notebook, pencils, books, my iPod and other stuff..but they play good movies on the plane so I watch those too. Longest flight I've been on was 10 hours (several times).

Well I usually ride on short flights. I bring my Ipod, a book, cell phone, sun glasses, wallet, and gum. I usually watch out the window and look at the scenery below. I put my sun glasses on because it helps me see better and it helps my eyes not hurt and get irritated because of the sunshine. It's good to buy a few newer songs you like to your mp3 player so you'll enjoy listening to your mp3 player more. I bring gum because of the altitude - my ears often pop and ache. I usually just put it all in a small tote bag so you can have it at your feet - and not have to get up and disturb people while opening the above compartment.
I'm going to invest my money in a pair of sound muffling head phones before I fly again. I have permanent hearing damage in my left ear because of the jet engines! - which totally stinks because I can hear about 3/4 of what people say when they whisper to me.
If it's a longer flight - I would bring much more.

i always bring my:
-ipod
-laptop ( so i can post stuff here:banana: )
-my nintendo ds
-any technology the airline lets you use
-snacks in case i want something beside the nuts or whatever they give you
-and i bring capri suns also not nessesarily for the plane but just in general

as for the bag i would bring like a tote from like american eagle or hollister or whatever you know those bags form there everyone carries or like a beach bag but not like a mesh one or something.

hope this helps!!

I'm taking my vera bradley Miller Bag.

Its an eleven hour bus ride, but I'm just taking my ipod, a magazine, the book I'm currently reading, first-aidy kinds of things.
Every where I go, I always have a spare pair of underwear, flipflops, and a top in my carry on.
I use to carry all my beauty products with me, but with the new rules, I don't.

have fun!
