My mom and I share one bag (which is one that I use for school - a regular sized one-strap shoulder bag). In it you can find what we bring on a yearly basis:

a book of hers
my iPod
my HW
LOADS of food
Gum for the ears

That's it. The food takes up way too much space to put anything else in there - although we don't have anything else to bring. I also bring my laptop in my laptop bag.

I just bring :

Camera
Cellular device (in my purse)
zen microphoto (mp3 player)
cd player just in case i run out of battery in my mp3 (only on long flights like 5 hours)
Nintendo DS with a few games
and sometimes a deck of playing cards...

I have a simple black bag I put my carry on things in. This trip my carry-on will consist of snacks, only. But most of the time I bring...

Some sort of sudoku/or coloring book.
And my little Disney diary I'll be keeping main points of the trip in for my trip report!
