Which place would you book if you were me?

I don't know you so I'll just answer as to which one I would book. That would be Coronado - especially the new tower there. Its spectacular.

Prior to the opening of the Skyliner, Caribbean Beach Resort generally was considered the least desirable Moderate Resort. It's the oldest Moderate Resort, many rooms were very far from the lobby (reduced since the Riviera replaced some of the farthest room, had a food court that was too small for the number of rooms (again, helped by the Riviera), and a rather slow bus service.

On the plus side, I have always enjoyed CBR's main pool. The theming is pretty cool!

The opening of the Skyliner, along with the removal of the farthest buildings, has turned CBR generally into the most expensive Moderate Resort.

I have yet to have a stay where the Skyliner wasn't closed at least a couple of times due to weather. But since the Skyliner has opened, I've stayed at the CBR or Riviera only during the summer, when thunderstorms come through almost every afternoon.

When this happens, CBR and Riviera bus service can be a bit of a mess.

You're all probably sick of me saying it but GDT at Coronado is the best value of any hotel on property.

With all due respect to CBR… for me, CSR>CBR.

Comparing the actual resort properties, with GDT and the new dining/bar options CSR is tops over CBR (and its musty-smelling rooms). But the Skyliner cannot be ignored, not only for park transporation, but it opens up the entire "Epcot resort" area for dining. That is, when the Skyliner isn't down for weather, the occasional collision, or its upcoming week-long refurb in Jan.

As a family with kids, we aren’t fans of the CSR main pool. There is very little shade, and the pool bar isn’t great. The CBR pool is way better for our kiddos. We do like many other aspects of CSR though, but at this stage of life, the pool is important in our decision making.
