carribean beach question

can you walk from carrribean beach to hollywood studios? if not what is the quickest way to go from cbr to contemporary

You can't walk to any park from CBR. To get to CR, your best bet would be to take a bus from CBR to MK, and then either walk or take the monorail to CR. Walking is probably faster, since CR is just across the road from the MK bus depot.

No. I wouldn't walk to any of the parks. We always use WDW transportation. It may not always be the quickest, but the easiest for us.

Nope.CBR is on a very busy highway road. There are no sidewalks and cars zoom past .You really can't and shouldn't walk.Besides Disney security sees you they would stop you.

well we have to be at chef mickey at the contemporary with 14 people by 7 am and we are just trying to figure out the quickest way to get there

That's a very early ADR. We did it that early only when we stayed at CR. Maybe you should call Pop directly prior to your trip and ask what they suggest and see what your options are so early in the AM. Also that you have such a large group going. Maybe you can take some kind of van service. Good luck.

I am pretty sure that the buses at the resorts start running an hour before the parks open. The earliest park opening would then be 8:00 am (with early entry) so the buses would start pick up at 7:00 (if on time).

I just got back from the Caribbean Beach Resort yesterday and can tell you that the buses were horrible...the worst that we have ever experienced. You could wait 20 - 30 minutes for a bus and then you would see two Epcot buses pull up right after the other. The spacing was way off.

I would advise calling the resort and seeing what they suggest.

However, I must say that we had an early morning ressie for Ohana and asked the bus driver (Manuel) what would be the easiest way to get there once we hopped on his MK bus. He actually told us to stay on the bus and he personally drove us to the Poly. He was so super nice!!!

I thought I should mention that if you are going in the next couple of days be prepared that there is a cheerleading competition and bands from various schools performing. They all seemed to be staying at CBR and were practicing outside the rooms.

As a former cheerleader, I was appalled at how rude these girls were and that there coach would have them practice right outside the rooms. I did a cheer just because I was happy to leave yesterday!!!!!

At that time of the morning I would use a cab. We did that several times on our last visit and it made things so much less stressful. I always worry that we did not allow enough time to take the bus. It will probably be about $10.00 for a cab but to me it is worth the extra few minutes of getting ready time and to eliminate the worry. Have a great trip!
