Going in 11 days!!!:cutie:

I stayed there for the first time earlier this month. I will say the resort is farily big and pretty peaceful. We stayed in barbados building 14. We were pretty far away from everything, the custom house, pool etc. I also hated that Barbados was the last place to be picked up from the buses and the last place to be dropped off. I loved that we had a courtyard right outside of our room. It came in real handy when I wanted to talk to my hubby b/c my phone didn't get serivce in the room. However, I was a little disappointed with the mousekeeping. When we arrived there were only 2 towels in our room and 1 bar of soap for a party of 3. Also we never got a towel animal. But we called and requested more towels and soap and they were brought to us very quickly. I loved the tropical theme of the resort and how quiet everything was.

We have stayed at CBR 2 x and we are staying there again in April. We have only been there since it was redone.

Yes, the resort is BIG! But, that does not mean that it is bad. We stayed in Martinique each time and hope to stay there again. Martinique is close to Port Royal. Port Royal is where you can get food and gift. You can request a specific building such as Martinique, and Jamaica or Trinidad North which are close to Port Royal. The buses were fine and once we took them once, we were familar with the lay out of CBR. There is a really great CBR thread where you can obtain more information.

Have a GREAT time!:cheer2:

We stayed in values about our first 6 times there- then CBR last year and at CR this year for only 2 nights. Me and my kids love CBR the best. The rooms were excellent at CR but we love everything else about CBR!!!!!

We loved CBR!

My wife and I actually prefer it over the Poly. It is brighter - and for us - just has a happier, Disney feel to it. The size of the resort was never an issue for us.

You'll have a great time!

We love CBR but it has been a few years since we were there last...but in just 25 days we will be there again and I cannot wait.

PS...it is very hard to read what you typed in that neon green.....

CBR is a beautiful resort. You might want to take a look at the CBR FAQ. Link is in my signature.

Ha! We are leaving a week from this Wednesday, and staying at CBR.

Maybe I'll see you there, dismic!:lmao:

Hope you have a great stay!

We arrived early on our last trip, so we stayed one night at CBR. The room was very nice. We had a Nemo themed room, which my son was THRILLED about! The bathroom was small, but other than that it was great. Very pretty resort.

The CBR is a beautiful resort. Yes, it is a large resort but that's a good thing because the guests are distributed evenly and you won't feel crowded. Also, there are bus stops, laundry facilities, quiet pools and beaches at each resort village so you're never far from anything.

Just a tidbit that some may not know...there is a concierge desk in the food court should you have any Disney questions.

If you have time, take a spin around the resort on one of the surrey bikes. It's a lot of fun and a great way to see the resort.

I have lots of pictures of the resort in both of my trip reports with the most recent being in the "Who Knew Choking...." report. The links are in my signature below.

We stayed at the CBR last Oct. and loved it. We were in a nemo room and my daughter was so in love with the kiddie pool area. I love everything about the CBR. This year we stayed at the CSR in May and didnt like it at all. Didnt get the disney feel for us. Didnt like the way the food court was set up either. you wont be disappointed in the CBR. We just made ressied at CBR in May '11.

We booked 2 connecting rooms last Aug. We had been to the CBR for our honeymoon years before. We love the resort. The new slide was a hit for my kids. I did not like how separate the hot tub was to the pool, but that was my only compliant. The rooms were both redone in the Nemo theme. We were pretty far away from the food court and pool, but the walk was relaxing. We would have no problem staying here again!

Just curious, we will arrive at CBR after our cruise next April, what are the chances our room will be ready? I know it will be early, but, just wondering:) Thanks.

I stayed @ CBR this past Aug and liked it very much. It is very big though. I had a preferred room which costs $25 more per night. I thought it was well worth it. The food court I thought was very good and had a good variety, bus service was very good. We never had to wait long if at all. Pool has 2 slides as well as pirate ship kiddie pool. Lots of laundry rooms. I was in Martinque 26. Have a great trip!
